When I was about 14, I was on vacation with my parents. We were on a road trip to see my sister in California. We stayed in motels after each days drive -- always two queen sized beds in the same room.

One day at about 2 am in the morning I woke up, this is quite unusual for me. "What was going on then?"you ask. Well, my mom and dad were in the next bed having sex. Thankfully, thankfully, THANKFULLY, they were fully covered by blankets and sheets. Needless to say, I had trouble getting back to sleep. The minutes that passed seemed more like three weeks. My only question is this: "How horny do you have to be to have sex in the same room as your teenaged son?"

Be glad that you only have to listen to your parents having sex.

I feel you man, my parents have been having sex in a very small house with my room right next to theirs. I’m 12 and hearing makes me way to uncomfortable. I get all shaky and I almost start to cry. Every time I go and yell “will you guys ever stop” and not a difference. Of course I’m a smart ass and the next day when they said it hurt them more than me I said “ you sure cause you were enjoying yourself in the room if your moaning”

If your step percent is helping to pay for you he is your parent too. I don't know why "step kids" think they are entitled to someone's pay check. If an adult besides you birth parent is paying for you BE GRATEFUL. I pay for my adopted son and "step daughters" equally. I don't request money back from their dad for the ONLY birthday and Chanukah gift they receive, I get up 6 days a week to cook their breakfast and all their holiday goodies come from my pay. You're lucky to have an addition adult to be there for you... not trying to be rude, just thought I would say
