Not really, you may or may not have read my comment but lots of people have meaningless sex with others, it's not intimate it's just sex. I only kiss people I love. It's possible I give people who I do not love a blowjob. In that case it is not intimate to me at all. It's just a sexual encounter.

Well, some people like to just have sex rather than be in an intimate relationship. Say you just broke up with your boyfriend/girlfriend, would you immediately want an intimate relationship again or would you just want to have plain sex with someone? That is just one example. What if you meet someone at a bar/club and end up having sex with them? It's most likely not very intimate and rather awkward and plain. If I were in those situations I wouldn't want to kiss that person.
