  • 1. As a queer person, I don't care what you believe as long as it doesn't negatively impact my life (ex. limiting my rights).
    2. I'm Asian, so I count as a person of color. The only thing I'll mention is it would be nice to have some of my history included in school because it is part of American history.
    3. I agree that people should stop making judgements about others based on political affiliation.
    4. Regarding this, I can understand how racial minorities feel upset as a result of mistreatment and possess a desire for it to stop. However, blaming and expecting favors from white people is unreasonable. It also won't change anything, so there's that.
    5. People are going to think your beliefs are wrong. I've been told that as well. Unless the other person provides a good reason behind why I'm wrong, I just shrug off their opinion and move on.

    • Well if everyone were able to get something for mistreatment you would have to get in line as the American Indians, Blacks, Chinese, Irish, Italians, Japanese Americans who lost all they had when stuck in internment camps during WWII, Gays, Jews, and others, all would have claims.

    • I'm talking about current mistreatment. Sorry if that wasn't clear. For example, police brutality has been an issue lately. Maybe we can try and figure out how we can lessen that? I think the main problem I have with politics, is that everyone's yelling, but no one's listening. I'm open to talking to you about the immigration aspect of #4 if you're interested. I always want to know what others think about it, especially since I'm an immigrant.

    • I'm pretty sure #4 is referring to black slavery.

  • Sometimes this is how I feel yes, I'm open to all and don't think badly of anyone, and it annoys me when someone judges me because of my, sexual orientation, race/ethnicity, political and religious views, etc. Personally I think everyone needs to 'live and let live in life'.
I don't usually get offended by others feelings towards me but of recent years I'm getting tired of being blamed for something I've never been part of.
People need to stop worrying what others are doing and concentrate on making themselves a better person.

What Girls & Guys Said

  • I feel EXACTLY that same way, and I would fall under the category of not being a "straight white male."

I think we're all sick of the worst people in society - Hollywood and corporate CEOs - trying to morally lecture us about how we're such bad people, so we can divide ourselves and they can conquer us.

I would try to convince everyone not to fall for it, but let's be honest... Most of this vitriol and pure disgusting hate is coming from the radical left, who are also the most useless people in society. It's not a case of "Liberals" or "Democrats." It's a few batsh*t insane lunatics who should've been slapped by their parents long ago. They're the reason we all don't unite against the ones trying to destroy us. They are keeping us from coming together by constantly attacking us and dehumanizing us as nothing more than bigots.

  • I feel like this for sure. All I really want is for people to leave me the fuck alone in terms of beliefs and be able to be an adult about it for different opinions and be able to agree to disagree.

When you start making your personal beliefs become a problem for me when I had no issue with it to begin with is when my tolerance for your bullshit becomes obsolete. THEN I have a problem with you.

  • This is actually really good @daniela1982. Me likes.

  • that's mostly true

  • Sounds like you need to part ways.

  • Yes, this is exactly how I feel.

  • I like this. It gives me perspective.
As a jaded 55-year-old, I can be judgmental to a point.
This helps me keep myself in check.

  • Right on with all seven. One for every day of the week.
Whether or not some takes something personally, the damage is still being done, our kids are still being indoctrinated.

  • Couldn't have said it any better myself. 100% truth right there.

  • I don’t really take anything personally, so I disagree with everything on there

    • No matter what anyone tells you, they still take some things personally unless they are a hermit.

    • Okay, I still disagree with the list

    • Which you certanly have the right to do.

  • Yep, I agree with every word of it. I really do not care if others choose to destroy their own lives by indulging in destructive behaviour, nor do I care if they have idiotic beliefs, but if anyone tries to compel me to accept their delusions and start to call me childish names if I do not, then they're practically begging to have their teeth knocked out. I don't tolerate bullshit, from anyone.

  • Some of these yeah

  • Still don’t care when they do..

  • All of that is false

    • I forgot to put the thing about some men being misogynists, you know, like them thinking they are kings?

    • Wow you're retarded

    • And you are a lame ass troll.

  • Yep, I 100% agree with every word of it.

  • All so true!

  • i agree mostly

  • Amen, could not have said it better

  • I guess I ask, how is it being shoved down your throat? Who’s forcing you to recognize anyone?

    • You really have no clue? Where do you live, in a little hamlet in the hills of Kentucky?

    • Austin. The heart of Texas’s progressive gay commie community. None there are demanding people call them anything or demanding special favors. They just want to live their way. And if you ask them what pronoun they prefer they’ll tell you.

    • Well maybe where you live and I hope all would want to live that way. But just as there are a bunch of straights who seem to feel entitled there are also gays who also feel the same. It just depends on where you live I guess. Those in the bigger cities have their parades while those in smaller communities just live their lives like straights and don't make it a point of calling attention to themselves or pressing issues that straights also don't. That is the way it should be, unlike in the state of California wherre everyone is a liberal, including the government, and everyone makes a fuss about something or nothing.

  • Mostly, I would say when Gays had parades and were trying to pick up young males along the way. I just think liberals are Godless pieces of crap that want socialism.
