Who here has use the "pull out" method while having sex and it failing which ed to pregnancy?

I know the pull out method is not good to do at all and is very unsafe but who actually has used it and did it work? How many time did you use that method before getting someone pregnant or not getting the pregnant at all

  • Well, the first thing to know is that there isn't a cortraception that is 100% effective. No - one. The pull-out metod is very risky and I'll tell you why: the guy could not be able to control himself and pre-ejaculation fluid may be the cause of the pregnancy. It is possible, yes, but is not very likely. It's all about being lucky - sometimes.
My experiences: I'm gonna try birth control and take pills as soon as possible, since I start having sex I always used condoms but when we didn't had money for them or they were over we just used the pull-out and the difference is huge. Without condom is wayyy more satisfying, for him and for her. So we just stopped using condoms and nothing ever happened. Just once we decided to buy condoms again and we ended up rushing to the nearest pharmacy to buy a 20 euros pill because we descovered it was broken. SO, what can we say, you have to take your risks. Still, it's 2 years with the pull-out method and nothing happened to me. I really don't want childs, but I want to enjoy sex too, so that's why I'm gonna go under birth control asap. But accidents happen. What happens next depends on if you're pro-life or not and if the state allows you to get a legal abortion. Or if you just want to be a mommy/daddy at young age. Up to you all.

    • Was it noticeable when the condom broke? I also need to get on birth control as soon as possible. I've only used the pull out method once and. Ever sine then we always used a condom but not to long ago his penis touched my vagina for a couple of minutes and later we decided to have sex with a condom and that's scaring me for some reason. Do you think I could be pregnant from that?

    • No, you don't have to worry for that, I'm 99,9% sure! It's all about sperm and your uterus ahah Anyway, yes because the condom was totally ripped on top and - well, he came inside without knowing so I had to take the morning after pill.

  • When used properly, the pullout method can actually be really effective BUT the key word there is properly. Which means that you have to make sure there isn't a chance that his precum has sperm in it AND that he knows his body well enough to know when to pull out. If he doesn't pull out in time (which can happen) then you may have a problem. I recommend only using the pull out if you're certain you can do it the right way. If you're not sure, you could always try it with anal first if that's something you're into? Good luck if you decide to use it!

    • So how would you know if his precum has sperm in it? Hmmm no anal, it sound painful lol

    • So the sperm that's in precum is kind of like leftovers from the last time he ejaculated. To avoid that, if he urinates afterwards, it essentially cleans everything out. So if you're using the pullout method, and he finishes but then you go for round two shortly after, you run the risk of there being sperm. Anal isn't bad if you're with someone that cares enough about you to go slow.

  • My boyfriend has used it before when it was a spur of the moment thing. He never came in or on me, I always made him finish in my mouth. But precum holds sperm too so I did have a pregnancy scare lol we are no longer having sex without a condom

    • Yeah I've only done it once that way and never again will I do it lol and now we always use condom

    • We've had sex a few times and 75% of the time was without a condom, which was stupid. So yes never rely on the pullout method.

  • My boyfriend and I relied on using only the pull-out method for almost two years and I didn't get pregnant. We used it a LOT. We had sex using just the pull-out or withdrawal method for protection at least 1-2x/day, 4-5x/week.

    • 2 time a day? Wow! Lol but that's nice What's the withdrawal method? And were you on birth control when you used that method?

    • lol yeah... we were pretty nuts (no pun intended) in the bedroom in our first year or so together. Ah, the joys of only being in second-year and being able to slack at uni for an entire sem! :P The withdrawal method is where the guy pulls out before he actually cums and ejaculates elsewhere. We did that, so where we'd have sex completely bare (ie. no condoms or anything) until he got close to the point of no return, where climax would be inevitable. At that point, he'd pull out and jack himself off to a finish on my belly/boobs/face, or in my mouth. I was not using any hormonal contraceptives at that time. The only additional precaution we took was that I'd use a period tracker and based on that, if we were within a day or two of my estimated ovulation date, we'd either just forgo sex that particular day or two or get him to wear a condom.

    • Yeah that's how me and my boyfriend were at the beginning of us having sex but we would only do it once a day lol. But thank you very much for sharing your experience!

  • During 10th grade I wrote an essay about contraceptions. Proper applied pull-out is as safe as your everyday condom in terms of preventing pregnancy.

The key problem is that most people don't pull out properly aka too late (right or short before he is ejaculating). Then mistakes happen.

    • I'm what way is it just as safe as condoms? If supposedly it's more dangerous? I'm no planing on using the pull out method I always use condoms but I've been very curious of what actually happens when people use that method.

    • You just pull it out before the guy gets close to orgasm and then finish of outside. Aka only penetration. That's how it's done properly. And statistically its about samish as a condom.

  • It worked for us for far. But we avoid high risk days (when the partner might have ovulation); extremely risky. Suggest you should ask him tonwear condom in high risk days.

  • Men and women that use the pull out method of birth control are universally known as "mommies" and "daddies."

  • I guess it only worked for me because I took the morning after pill the very next day... so I guess that doesn't count XD

  • That's the only method of birth control that I ever used and I worked quite well

  • I know three people that got knocked up this way.

  • The only times it didn't work for me was when I intentionally didn't pull out. It's always been my primary method and has worked very well when I wanted it to.

  • I would never use than as only protection as long as I'm not ready to have any kids with her

  • sometimes we use it, but mostly we use condoms

  • I'm much more careful about such things. thus girls like me more.

  • I've never gotten pregnant but my mother once told me she and my dad used that method for 12 years and she got pregnant 3 times during that span, so it does fail.

  • Actually i allways using this way.
    Its not unsafe...

    • So you always use this method?

    • Yes.. I cummed inside maybe 2-3 times

  • It worked for me for about 14 years, got preggers on purpose cause we wanted a baby. Went back to using pull out and was preggers again unintentionally 18 months after having my first

  • It apparently has a pretty high success rate but if you have sex enough times it eventually will fail.
