Because (saying this as a white guy by the way) in the US we have a white-dominated society that objectifies and exoticizes non-white women. And I'm not being some kind of simp or something; I actually feel like this obsession with "White Guilt" is way overdone, and please, bear with my rant because it will come full circle, I promise you. My family never owned black slaves. We weren't here in the US yet even black people were still slaves. We came over just before WWI so no I don't feel guilty about black slavery in the US because my family wasn't remotely involved. In fact, we came over from Eastern Europe because serfdom over there was just slavery with a less offensive sounding name. We didn't own black slaves and we didn't fight for the Confederacy, so don't go telling me I owe anybody shit. In fact, parts of my family had freely owned land (not rich, not nobility, mind you, just freely owned land) which was a big deal back then, and it all got taken away by the Bolsheviks, so if anything, RUSSIA owes ME reparations for stealing from MY folks. H O W E V E R... As a student of history, I am also 100% in agreement that Black Americans have gotten screwed from the get go. I know this may be unpopular BUT I don't think reparations for slavery are gonna be feasible or, really, at all any form of justice because we're too far gone from slavery. We're too separate from those who profited and those who suffered and it's just too much of a complicated mess to expect some financial retribution to be calculated at all fairly or accurately. What we need to do now is take care of the underserved POC communities that developed as a result of a very poorly bungled Reconstruction.
But getting back to the original point, there is a presumption that non-white girls are "hotter" because they're still exoticised. Again, I really think the anti-White hatred is way out of proportion. But I'm also a guy, and a horny bastard, so I watch porn. And what do I see? Separate categories for Black ("Ebony" because we try to convince ourselves there's no racial overtones here), Asian, Latina, Indian, at least these three on basically every major porn site. But no "White Girls" category. Usually a "Redhead" category, which also speaks to the "othering" of redheads and gingers and how Ginger has become debatable as an offensive label. And even more so, almost always a "Shemale" category because we're still so freaking afraid of trans women that we can't even call them by the right term.
So yeah, there's a thing where Black women are identified as "hotter" than white women, but it's not out of appreciation. It's out of racism and exoticization. How's that coming from a white dude who's tired of being told he's "privileged". I just call it like I see it and y'all black girls only get called hotter cos dudes just wanna screw Beyonce and don't see y'all as people, just some black lady parts to fulfill a racist fantasy.
