I've been dating for the past couple of months, since a breakup with a long-term boyfriend. I'm in school and I have a job, I'm very friendly and upbeat (always laughing and smiling), and I'm decent looking (not a 10 but not a 2). But every guy I go out with are just looking to sleep with me. I want a relationship, but on the first date they try to initiate something further than a kiss and then get mad when I refuse and never call again. I'm starting to feel really down about this, because my friends are in relationships with guys who value them as people and I want that. Where can I find a guy like that?
Guys like to have sex with women they are interested in. Wanting sex does NOT mean that he only wanted sex. Girls typically prefer to get to know someone and then start sleeping with them. Guys generally prefer to sleep with someone while getting to know them.

They can't seem to. fathom that a woman wants a deeper interaction that doesn't mean deeper penetration. They tend to be too absorbed with their own desires and Dont want anything to complicate it.

Some people are like that, mostly assholes who just "hookup". I wouldn't do that, that's hurtful to the girl because she wants to get to know you and we are kind of taking advantage. Eh, just me.
If I was a boyfriend I would wait until she would want to do it, unless we were 24 and had been going out since we were 18, then I would start asking questions if everythings ok.
