Guys, Why do men care so much about what women think about their penis if their is no romantic interest?

I have this guy friend who texted me the other day when he was horny and wanted to show his penis. If you don't like a woman in an romantic way, its still important for you to show her? Why is it so important? Does it hurt your ego if we decline to see it? But if you don't care about us in a romantic way or a sexual way then it shouldn't matter? I guess what I am getting at is just showing your penis just an ego boost thing and it doesn't matter who sees it, its just that your horny? I would think it would mean something to a guy if they want that badly for you to see their penis. I am just curious because it seems like a real big deal to you men.

I see two possibilities. Either he is trying to express his sexual desire, but doesn’t want to say anything, or he is turned on by the idea of his friend seeing his penis. This one seems kind of far out, but if he is interested in your friends, he may be sending dick pics in hopes that they will get around.

Ok then. It's because society puts a lot of importance on those things. Even though we are told "size doesn't matter" publicly, the first and most common point of attack of a jilted female is to attack a males size and or sexual ability.
