Yes, I miss my ex ('s) because of the awesome sex we had.
Also because I would get a case of the 'lonelies' and miss having someone around to talk to, go out with, do things with, have meals with, plan things together, cuddle, etc.
Then I would start thinking about all the crap I had to deal with and why we broke up, and those lonely thoughts about my ex go away.

Sex is definitely a big part of why people miss their exes. Most people don't just go around having sex with everyone. Also, you usually spend so much time together that it's only natural to become attached.

I feel like when you miss someone even after they’re an ex it’s because you had an emotional attachment to them.
Desperation, people move because they think they will find someone equal and better quick but overestimate their (partners) replacability.
If you realize the breakup need not have happened and you could have worked things out.
Because she played a key role in my life for that particular time. Its not easy to let go of the memories.

When I miss my exes is because I think there isn't really a solid reason why they couldn't be with me, other than their horrible attitude.
