I hooked up with this guy from my campus. I know I didn't have to expect much after a hookup, but why can't he be just a little respectful? We were both a little drunk, danced together a little and we ended up at my place. After he fucked me, he just said he was going to get something downstairs, took some beer from my fridge without asking, and then I heard him close the door and he was gone. Didn't even answer my text the day after. Then later I found out that he bragged about fucking me to all his friends. I don't mind some people knowing but he told all these details to everyone like how enthusiastic I sucked his dick, how I moaned when he pulled my hair or how my ass clapped when he fucked me from behind. He literally said those thing! tbh, the sex was really nothing special but he talks about me like I'm some slut he fucked the shit out of and is so proud of it. Why do guys act like this? They don't have to date me after a hookup, but a little thankfulness or respect is not too much to ask. And don't tell me that I deserve this for hooking up. These days, A LOT of people hook up and they are not sluts for doing so. Also this was my second hookup and probably last. So guys, if you date a girl and she acts difficult about having sex, it's guys like this one you have to thank for it.

I know I can't expect a lot of respect after a hookup. But normally you still treat that person with the basic respect you have for any human being. Like assholes who look down on the homeless or prostitutes. They are still human, whatever they do.

The reason he and others act like this is because they are self-serving, narsessistic, egotistical, and arrogant jerks. Now this isn't the type of answer you would expect from a guy but it is one you can rely upon from a person who cares about others. This jackass is a prime example of this type of punk. He actually used you twice in that he used you once to satisfy his desire for sex and then a second time to boost his ego by boasting about it. He is probably so stupid that he doesn't even realize that his behavior was wrong. As far a his narsassism goes he to wrapped up in himself to understand that he has caused you harm, and his arrogance keeps him from even caring if he does. To his type they are doing you a favor when they brag about you because to them it's an honor to you that he would have sex with you. Unfortunately there are times if you do hook ups that your going to run into creeps like him. Still that doesn't mean that you can't have mutually rewarding one time sex experiences you just have to be a bit more careful before you approach someone for sex check him out with some other girls, his type has a bad habit of leaving a bad rep with the girls he sleeps with. believe it or not a good place to do this is the ladies room. I know that girls don't just go to put on more lipstick when they're in there so ask some of the gals you see in there and then use a little common sense, you can have your fun without regret.

Come on you are 18 and still think that only trashy people have hookups? I'm not saying it's a classy thing to do but it doesn't make you a slut. It's not black or white. Good people do less good things. That doesn't make them bad people.
I'm actually 23. Yes, sleeping around makes you a slut. That's exactly what it means - some people don't see slut as a bad thing, but most do. I never said that beong a slut makes you a bad person because it doesn't, however it's unattractive to a lot of men, and men don't usually respect a girl who sleeps around.

They don't give shit about you or how you feel. Go to him and ask to apologize. He will probably laugh at it.
I know guys that have sisters and say "women are whores" with such ease. It amazes me.
There are signs to look after in order to make sure the guy is going to "brag" about it: the group he walks around with. Look at the people he surrounds himself with and you'll learn a lot. If they only talk about sex and their "adventures" THEN be sure they'll get into details. It's even worse if the girl is attractive and usually highly regarded in the group (popular, hard to get).
They do it for a number of reasons: to be better seen in the group, to be accepted like one of the guys, to show he is a "don juan".
