I like to have sex to feel closer and more intimate with someone I already like and have a great interest in. It's like glue to seal a bond that is already there. I have a number of very long term best friends who are so close that we can talk about anything with each other due to bonding on every level with each other. We can talk about things we would never menti9on to our romantic partner or to a platonic friend. It's very cozy. It's also very relaxing, pleasant, and an excellent way to destress on a bad day.
