Sexual Health Guys, why doesn't my boyfriend want to talk dirty to me?

My boyfriend and I have been dating for 6 months now. Everytime I try to talk dirty to him he always steers the convo in a different direction. We have sex like 3-4 times a week and I'm with him every single night. I know he's not cheating or anything like that, I just want to know why he doesn't like to talk dirty over text messages. He never has. I thought every guy liked that.

(21)Maybe he is afraid someone besides the two of you will read the messages. Maybe he just isn't good at it. Maybe he doesn't want to feel teased by you getting him worked up when you aren't nearby to have sex with. When I was young I felt awkward talking or even making noises during sex and a lot of girls asked me why or flat out complained about it. So even though you two are intimate he could still feel awkward about dirty talk.
He may just be shy about it, not everyone is open to it.
Maybe because he's not dirty like you are.
He may not be good at it like me I go to far too fast then it's awkward.

It's kind of weird man. I personally like it, I text all kinds of shenanigans to the wife while she's at work everyday and she always sends something fun back. Builds the mood / sexual tension then it's game one when she gets home. BUT with that being said when she's here and shit's going down I'm much more respectful / clean with my words. I don't know why but it just feels weird when she's right in front of me; by then i'm usually an all action / no talk kind of guy. Unless liquor is involved; then the flood gates open.
But back to your question as to why doesn't he want to; it's difficult to say. Maybe it's just not his thing. Ask him about it; as always communication is key in a relationship.
