Why is being clean shaven below so popular?

Pornography popularized being hairless to make things easier to see. Razor companies also started marketing to women as a way to double their customer base by printing false articles about body hair... really it was just a gimic to make money and people bough into it..

The reason is they say it's more hygienic and more neater down there without the hair. I don't go with the trend though and I maintain my womanhood fully covered with hair. Neither I feel it's less hygienic, I wash them properly whenever required.

For my part, I have to respectfully disagree with this. I prefer a woman’s vagina to be completely smooth for the same reason I prefer a woman’s legs to be shaved. It has nothing to do with wanting her to look like a little girl, and everything to do with just wanting to enjoy touching her womanly parts without hair. I have had women ask me to shave myself smooth down there, and it is not because they want me to look like a little boy.

I would believe you except the most common reason cited for why guys like shaved girls is because it's unhygienic or masculine. There's no evidence for either except that males are hairier on average than females. Bald shaved cooter feels weird to me but to each their own. Men obviously had no problem with female body hair during history because the reproduction rate dropped dramatically after razors were invented.
