OK, I'm going to go OLD LADY on everybody's ass right here and now.
YOU SHOULD NEVER SWIM ALONE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!
Learned this in my college lifesaving class. If you have a cramp, get snagged on some underwater tree root or tire out while in the water, you have NO ONE TO HELP YOU!!!

Skinny dipping is fun and it's a group endeavor. The only time I did it I was recovering from a case of the flu and luckily was in a small lake with a lifeguard friend. We swam out about 150 yards and I was out of gas.
I told him I couldn't make it back to shore and he said don't worry, he'd swim me in.
He took hold of my arm and swam me back as I relaxed on the water and stared up at the blue sky. It was a wonderful experience. He was as strong as Tarzan! The Johnny Weismueller one from the old movies.
Halfway back, I got a second wind and we swam back together, with him watching me like a hawk to see if I petered out. I didn't. It was a great day!

I would happily attend a nudist beach or skinny-dip alone or with friends - I’m confident in my body like that 😁 with friends would be better though and more fun.

Are you kidding I actually went to a party when I was 17 and still in school wearing nothing but my socks boots and a cowboy hat and I mean literally that's what I left my house in and It was a pretty good sized party like 100+ people some folks I knew and others complete strangers

I had a hot tub at my old house, and several of my BDSM friends have pools, so it's common for us to skinny dip when we have get-togethers. Obviously I've also done it with girlfriends (but otherwise alone - no group of friends), but in my opinion that doesn't really count.

Mostly just the Lady that I am dating at the time, and 2am, and in a local little pond. Of course we have to shower, after, and checking each other for leaches, is something like fore-play!! :)

I've been to nude beaches so you could say that I've skinny dipped with other people around haha 😂 I wouldn't do it with friends but with a partner of course.
