Boyfriend asked me to shave "down there"...?

So after sex my boyfriend was like, "can I make a suggestion? I don't think it's mean but you might take it the wrong way." I was like, "no. you cannot make a suggestion." So he was like, "Well I was just thinking like maybe you can shave it." I got so pissed and freaked out. Keep mind, I am neatly trimmed. I have very little trimmed hair just near the bottom. Should I shave it for him? Was it wrong of him to ask me?

Of course! What kind of world would it be if someone didn't? I personally would be completely bogged if my girlfriend did reacted like what I'm picturing. She has to see it from all sides so hopefully she doesn't react to something simple like that again.
No, hahaha. I thought it was funny, and I do tend to freak out. But I've never been told that because this is the first guy I have had sex with. I'm very new at this, and no one warned me about shaving completely bald...

He just made a suggestion, not a demand or a threat. If you guys are in a relationship, I don't think suggestions or asking are wrong. It's quite healthy communication actually.

its not that you neat down there just some guys(including me) like a shaved girl and there is nothing wrong with him at least asking to me, he didn't mean to insult you or nothing I take it. just he might of wanted to see how it was if you shaved.
I've always shaved for hygiene for myself. Fiance sometimes is in the mood for bush, I'll let it grow. But that's just me. I recommend shaving just to try it out. If you like it keep it up, if not tell him why. Maybe shave on holidays and birthdays. But it needs to be fair and even. He needs to shave or trim for your preferences
