Do girls care if a guy is a virgin?

I'm a 17 year old guy, and a virgin. I've been called good looking before, 6'3", average weight, glasses, green eyes, musician (Drums, guitar, etc) I don't have a six pack or anything but I'd like to think I am (I'd post a pic if I knew how), I'm kinda shy at first but once I've known someone for a week or so I open up quite a bit. I'm waiting for the right girl to make love to, because I guess I want to be in love when I make love (I hope that makes sense), I feel like if I'm going to bee that close to someone physically, I need to be that close to someone on an emotional level too. And I've made the mistake of telling on of my friends about this, and as you can imagine, it spread around FAST. A lot of guys call me "f**" "queer" you know. So I was wondering what you girls think, is it weird at all? I feel like I'm the only one in the world who feels this way... P.S. It's got nothing to do with religion.

haha I'm 6'3,17, quiet with people I don't know, apparently had a bunch of girls check me out I never noticed lol... anyway its your choice I personally wouldn't care much gotta bottle some things up tho lol if you feel like saying anything you might be judged for/bugged for awhile "friends" prob aren't the best people to talk to instead be anonymous and use the internet lol..

Firstly unlike most dude I wouldn't take a guys virginity away from him unless I absolutely love him, because I feel like it should be really special. In my opinion it should be treated no different from a females first time. My friend said she doesn't deal with male virgins because she doesn't want to be with anyone unexperienced. It's not gay at all, it just goes against society expectations. People think that males are supposed to lose it young, and have sex with a lot of females. Good for you tho <3

I don't think it makes a difference, I believe that guys who aren't f***ing some girl everyday is better than someone who is.
I waited until I was 16, and probably would still be a virgin if I hadn't met my ex.
People say it is something special, but you have to make it special. It brings you closer, but you need to make it last and be special.

well iv'e only done I with one guy but we broke up and , the only thing I have against dating virgin guys is that they might see me as a slut or somthing because iv'e done it and they haven't so I don't really prefer to date virgins.. it makes me feel low, because I already regret doing it with the one guy iv'e done it with because he turned out to be a jerk.
In this day and age if a women told me she only had sex with one guy before I would be quite impressed considering how society seems more open to sex now days.
I'm not surprised my guy isn't a virgin, I mean he's 27...Myself: I waited until all the teenage hormones were outgrown and I could believe what my man said was sincere (and not just to get between my legs...) and I waited until I felt ready and like I really loved the guy...As for my first time...The Titanic sinking went better, in fact, it lasted like 2 min and we just gave up. That wasn't our only attempted, but so far that has been my first and my only...I'm completely crazy about my current guy, though, and wouldn't so much mind taking that step sometime soon. As for him not being a virgin, it just means he was in love before me...Or just...well 'in the mood'. Doesn't really bother me.
