Do men have sexual thoughts about EVERY woman they've ever met?

Some guy once told me that every guy ad least once has thought of his girl friends in a sexual way. Is that true? Can't men help thinking about any girl (who's ad least decent looking) in a way that transcends the friend limits?!? Have you ever been friends with a girl whom you have never thought of in such a way? (it doesn't count if you were a kid) It is proven that it is most likely that male-female friendships are made with regards to a certain attraction towards one another. So it is most likely that your good friend of the opposite sex holds a certain amount of attraction for you and vice-versa. Have you guys always thought of your friends of the opposite sex in a sexual manner, or have there been some exceptions?

I always tend to think "what if," so to speak whenever it comes to my female friends. I always think about whether I would want to have sex with that person or not. I think that it's a subconscious thing - always sizing people up to see if they would fit into the "more than friends" category. I also tend to be more apt to hang out with women that I find attractive and wouldn't mind being with in that way. If I just can't picture myself with a girl in that way, she normally ends up on my "we will only ever be friends and nothing more" list. I don't know if girls do this or not. However, I can tell just by looking at someone and/or only talking to them for a short period of time sometimes whether I would have sex with them or not. (That doesn't mean they would all have sex with me!) I think I started doing this way back in elementary school or something. It's actually kind of a pain after a while because you get into this routine of judging people by their looks sometimes instead of going deeper. I would like to just be able to get past all that. Sorry, I hope I wasn't too brutally honest!

No, you were just fine. Some of my friends (who are girls) do this as well. I, on the other hand, always 'get hit by the lightning' of a guy I never thought I would like as more than a friend. And it's not that he's not very handsome (they usually are), but I only see them as friends (for some unknown reason).......They always surprise me in the end! :)

Ok so I'm not a guy but I'm going to answer this anyway. I find myself sizing up men when I meet them (yes pretty much every man), either they are my type (whatever that is) or they are not. So I think to myself yeah I could do that guy, or no it would never happen (whether the answer is yes or no, either thought is a sexual thought). So if I'm capable of these random sexual thoughts (as I'm sure you are too, if you think about it in that context) why wouldn't men be, as they are supposed to think about sex so much more then women.

I know it is possible to have a friend of the opposite sex and not want to sleep with them, but I think in all honesty (whether we decide yes or no ) we all think about it however fleeting the thought may have been.

I'm not a man, but I do something similar. I take in a guy's appearance and strong points, and assess him as a possible mate. I even imagine how he would look and react if I were on top of him.

I think that if guys are at all attracted to a girl, they've had sexual thoughts about her. One of my guy friends has told me that he's masturbated to every girl he's ever been friends with and imagined them doing all sorts of sexual things.

I'm sure that on some level we have. I know for example that when we see a person in general we instantly size them up as friend or foe and if it is a friend then would we have sex with them. I'm sure there have been fleeting thoughts about women we are friends with about how it would be to have sex with them even if it is very fleeting.

My best friend in the whole world is a girl & married. I never make any sexual advances or cross the line because I respect her marriage & value our friendship. BUT YES I have sexual thought about her. I don't picture her if I'm with someone else. Yes I do wonder what it would be like to "do" her.

yep, always sexual thoughts BUT, if they remain JUSt FRIENDS, the sexual thoughts were only in the initial stages. there is a "window of opportunity" when a guy and girl meet where it is subconsiously decided whether they will be friends or otherwise.

Girls that I've been attracted to at least at one point in time yes. Girls that I've never really been attracted to, it's kind of hit and miss. Most of the time in that case when I have, I consider it more as a hypothetical than really a fantasy. Though there are some that I've just never thought about in that way.

It should be noted that having me go back and think about the ones that I never did think about causes me to subconsciously ask why, which in turn causes me to at least momentarily consider it. But again that falls into the hypothetical and not really fantasy category.

most of my girl-friends are just friends. if I like them more than a friend, then that's a different story- I tend to think about them romantically. not usually sexually, though.

I've had horrible images of the naked body of an overweight girl I"m friends with, but god no I wouldn't fantasize about her. Everyone has random thoughts.

Im not a guy, but my ex boyfriend, has a friend with benefits. He says they have never clicked as bf/gf, but have always enjoyed having sex together. So I do think that guys or even girls thought of the opposite sex in a sexual manner. Even if they might just be a friend.
