Have it while taking a bath or in the shower. Use lots of soap. I prefer baby shampoo. Trim with scissors or hair clippers first. Using a fresh razor will help cut down on razor burn. There are gels out specifically for shaving sensitive areas. If you have a problem with redness or razor burns after shaving, I'd look into one.
