I have flushed it down the toilet, burned it in the backyard camp fire, or rinsed it and put it deep inside my purse and threw it in the trash outside of Target entrance.
Marriage is for people who love and trust each other. Obviously that is not your situation. So you should divorce him and move on. That way you do not have to worry about hiding used condoms.
The people who run our local sewer system have made it clear that things like condoms can clog the mechanisms that chop up all the stuff that is not liquid in preparation for the system that cleanses it enough to be released back into the wild. (there is not a tank large enough to contain all the poop and pee that the world creates).
The best would probably be to simply wrap it up in a paper towel, put it in a plastic bag, and chuck it in a public trash can. Doing anything more extravagant just runs the risk of causing additional complications from the conspicuous nature of them. (Who wants to have to explain why the plumber found a clog caused by a condom flushed down the toilet?)

Just throw it away, used condoms go in the trash can. But I feel bad for your husband once he finds out what you're doing behind his back.
The Target trash sounds pretty safe to me. Or you could just go without, then you wouldn't have a used condom to worry about.

I have heard about a guy getting his septic tank pumped and noticed a lot of things floating in the tank. When he asked the guy pumping out the tank. He said that they were condoms. Husband had a vasectomy! Goodbye wife!
