Girls, do you wear tampons or pads?

Which one do you think is better? Do you have a particular opinion about certain girls who wear tampons or pads? I wear pads and I guy told me "I didn't know you wore diapers, you struck me as a tampon kinda gal" Guys, what does that even mean? Is there a "type" of girl who wears tampons? What do you think of girls who wear pads?

I wear pads, but I want to try tampons. I think it's whatever you feel comfortable using and does it really matter if you prefer pads over tampons or tampons over pads? No, it doesn't matter. What a jerk he was.
I mostly wear tampons. I sometimes have to also wear a pad if it's too much, but it's not always like that.
I picked tampons, but I use both. Tampons on my heavy days, and pads at night and on my light days.
