alright so pubic hair. guys what do you like? how many of you hate hair and find it disgusting? how many of you couldn't care less hairless or hair-y, how many of you prefer hairy?

I like or let's say prefer rather trimmed or shaved pubic scenes. It's really something that almost directly shows me a sense of responsibility and care you take over your body. In reality it really isn't something you get to demand of someone, but basic hygiene (which in my eyes is easier achiever through shaving) is something you should be getting out of your lover without asking.

That said though I've never had knowledge of shaving or trimming hurting for woman and I'm not someone that really for the 'beauty is pain' standard some people set for themselves. I don't think trimming hurts though and it's really just a 5 minute job that helps you out for a week.

I do believe however that as a guy it's my obligation to shave/trim because I enjoy that feature of girls taking care of themselves. I do not really enjoy the proces of shaving and risking my rather precious area to be cut with sharp tools so I do trim, but thouroughly.

I like the feel of shaved, but honestly I'm not all hung up on it. If it hurts her or is uncomfortable I completely understand and will leave it be as natural as she likes. Granted I don't want the hair down below to be longer than the hair on her head, if you know what I mean. I believe there is a happy balance to all things, so trimming is a plus. If it makes any difference I trim myself up occasionally.

I have serious issues with shaving- I can`t shave any part of my body, so I wax instead.

But I can`t bring myself to do a full-blown Brazilian. I just can`t seem to find a way to make that work for me.

So I wax my bikini line and a bit from the top and around, and just trim the rest.

I`ve never had a problem, but then... maybe the guys kept their opinions quiet.

I am so lucky to have a guy who prefers me to have some bush down their. I keep it neatly trimmed and shaved on the areas he will have his tongue and he is happy as a clam and so am I. I did shave it all at one time mostly because it was the thing to do, but like this much better and naked I actually look like a 26 year old and not a 9 year old.

I don't think pubes show if a girl is a women or not.my 11 year old sister is in the pube growing stage and she is still a girl just like if a women shave she still looks like a women not a girl. And what about when women sleep and dead skin gets under the hairs when you wash with a hairy bush you not going to get all that dead skin out .its the same with guys. Like what people call cheese,would buld up in the pubes if you don't wash good. And when you sweat you would sweat more down there because of your pubes think about it like this.most girls shave under their arms because they sweat more and dead skin would build up in the hairs.if it was trimed really low it would be ok also. and if it hurts when you shave just use nair. And if it itch after you shave, put some baby oil on it.but if my girl didn't want to shave I wouldn't make her.ill respect her choice.

If shaving hurts, then you need to get that checked out. You're either shaving too rough, or you're cutting yourself, or shaving the wrong way. Sure when it grows back, it can be a little itchy, because the hairs growing. But it shouldn't hurt.

You're never supposed to use nair on your vagina. That's for legs and armpits, or your face. You can get chemical burn using it on your vagina. And if course waxing is going to hurt, the hairs are getting ripped out all at once and with force. And for the people saying shaving hurts people, they're either using an old razer, and need a new one, or shaving too roughly, or they're not shaving correctly. Or maybe wait for the hair to grow a little more, than shaving on almost bare skin.

That's not true at all. Some women just don't like body hair. Just because they shave, doesn't mean they aren't "women". That's most silliest thing I've ever heard. That's something someone says, that doesn't shave and feels embarrassed about it. So they have to put down other women who do shave and say they're not a woman. I personally shave because I think body hair is disgusting. But that's just my personal opinion. Doesn't make me any less of a woman. That's just silly. If people don't want to shave, then good for them. And I see some people on here saying that shaving is uncomfortable. To each their own. I personally feel more clean when I shave. Just me though.

I can't understand the pressure caused by media and fashion, which call the shots, what is the proper and required look of girls pubic hair. Here is how it seems feels to me. Unshaved feels like you are rubbing your penis inside a wet carpet, with lube.

Shaved feels like a slip and slide lubed up with baby oil.

It depends on the guy for me personally I am one of the few oddballs I tend to think that a vagina with a bush is hot but there is a diffrence between when I say a bush and a jungle, a bush I would say would be like you can still see the general shape and hole to the vagina where as when I say a jungle i mean litteraly all you can see down there is what would look like a big ball of hair. Additionally pubic hair has functions that you may not realise such as it actually emits an aroma that is supposed to turn guys on. And its not strong enough for you to actually smell but ur brain can process it. And other functions other than just keeping you warm down there. But if its like mine I actually shave because mine gets curly and starts to feel what I would call hard or tough, bassicaly it is scratchy. Personally i dont think it matters a vagina is a vagina think of it this way a lady with a nice bush is like a natural shirt for her vagina keeps it warm protects it, does other things than just keeping it warm. I don't really care to be honest. If I had to pick I would say shaved or at the very least only only hair on top. But it by no means would be a relationship breaker. I just don't like the it's natural argument. So is leg hair and armpit hair. How would you feel if your woman stopped shaving that? And no hair down there doesn't make her any less a woman than me shaving my face makes me less of a man.

I prefer absolutely shaven bare. Though I understand this commonly causes irritation, ingrown hairs, etc. That is why I'm willing to accept the sight of a neatly trimmed vagina.
