Guys: Why are big boobs "hotter"?

It seems that girls who're slim and busty are hotter than us who are slim and well, small chested. I have wide hips. I'd be a perfect hourglass if I had big boobs, but I don't have them. I rarely get told I'm hot, and I don't dress nor do I act like a nun. Nor like a slut. I get told I'm a really nice, fun and smart girl. Yet girls with big boobs (who are slim) get told they're hot all the time. You see the same thing happening with actresses. Sofia Vergara, for instance, is always the "hot" one, all guys think she's hot and desirable and sexy and they drool and whatever. Yet, say, Kate Hudson doesn't incite the same feelings in guys. I want to be hot, but it seems I can't unless I magically grow big boobs (because implants are a turn off apparently). Oh and about penis size, it's not the same because you don't see huge penises on TV like you see breasts, and also, only the first 2 or 3 inches of the vagina are sensitive anyway. I always get told that its' the same as penis size, and it is not! Maybe if you had your d*** on display all the time it would be the same, but it's not. So that's not a valid argument. Plus technique IS more important, and I have never given much importance to size anyway. About height, most girls are shorter than the majority of guys (there will always be a shorter girl than you), about hair bald guys can be hot (see Bruce Willis, Taye Diggs, Donald Faison and many others). And about muscles, you can grow them naturally. You can't grow boobs.

To the girls who say it doesn't matter, well just look at what the media portrays as hot, and you'll notice women tend to have big boobs. Like I said Sofia Vergara, Salma Hayek, Katy Perry, they're all considered SEX symbols, whereas...

... women like Kate Hudson or Keira Knightley ARE considered beautiful and elegant, but not HOT or sex symbols. Plus just look at Playboy or Maxim, they all have chesty, slim women. And they represent men's ideals, otherwise they wouldn't sell.

it is all about that image you see on the TV sterotyping blinds our thorts a bit but I have found if you were brest feed like me you like biger more natrel boobs with most kids were in those days but my mate who was not brestfeed and hie thinks thay get in the way so it all depends on the person and how thay were bought up... so if you can find a person who was not feed from the boob and has not seen a boob on TV then you are in :D

I've always wondered who decided which women were sexy and which ones weren't. Breast size has never been a determining factor for me. Someone can have a slim figure, large breasts and a rotten attitude, while the small breasted female standing next to her would be more friendly and open. I might glance at the woman with the large breasts, (I'm still breathing, after all), but I'd be more attracted to the small breasted woman.
But that's the thing, what makes you look at the big chest and not the small one? That's what's killing me, what makes it more attractive, or at the very least hard to ignore (unlike small breasts which tend to go unnoticed most of the time).
The big breasts tend to be upfront and right in a mans gaze, while the smaller breasts are quite do noticeable. Then again, every female I've ever dated or even been just friends with has been small breasted.
Why do you care? And why do you want to be hot? To me, "hot" is a term for guys who are still using the 1-10 rating system on girls. I'd rather have gorgeous, beautiful, pretty, and even cute.
If you want an hourglass figure, wear a padded bra. The only one who will know if your boyfriend and he certainly shouldn't be in that role if he cares.
Because as much as people like to think that they aren't cavemen, we still have the same insticts and urges.

I personally hate big boobs, I'm an E and that's all lads care about... Lads think I'm ''easy'' or ''a slut'' cause of my t*ts. When I'm talking to a lad he'd be looking at my t*ts not my face, and they tell me I should be in p*rn and ask me to show them my t*ts.. Seriously wtf is up with lads theses days? Iv been with my boyfriend almost 2 years now and lads still look at me as just t*ts! I think lads are just shallow pricks! I had a baby during the summer and I was with my daughter outside for a walk and I heard lads saying ''that was bound to happen the baps on her'' wtf like? I don't think big boobs make you sexier, I think to be sexy you have to have the confidence not the boobs, I feel very unconfident BECAUSE of my boobs I feel really ugly because of them because I always get the impression it's the only thing a guy wants...

I've been out with women who were absolutely stunning, who beat themselves up for not conforming to media images. Waste of their time. Being with someone like that is not settling for second best from a guy's point of view, but it can get old eventually if she doesn't realize she is beautiful as she is, and keeps self denigrating and seeking constant reassurance.
Just like girls avoid whiney clingy guys, you can make yourself unattractive by not being self confident.
Your issues boil down to being told what you should look like by others, and not so far saying, thanks for the suggestion, but I'm fine as I am. Relax you'll enjoy life more. What you say about the flexibility you have to change your shape is true. No point fighting it.

Nonesense. Most women are much more realistic and know that their guys are lucky to be with them, no matter what they look like.
What does perfect mean? It is much more realistic to know we are all flawed, but can all still bring other people a lot of fun. I'd hate to be with someone who didn't say and do daft things from time to time, or who was good at everything, or who thought she was physically perfect, and who didn't have some humour and could laugh about and get over my similar quirks and hers. Even assuming some notion of perfection was attainable, how on earth are you going to cope with the inevitable effects of age?
A girl who superficially looks too "perfect" can actually be a turn off, because you know that the whole appearance is pretty high maintenance. The only cover girl type I ever lived with didn't last long because her twice daily two hour beauty routines, and constant wardrobe/shoe hunting didn't leave much of a day to do anything else with. The "dream" wasn't worth the reality.

Well, it's different or every single guy. Some like teeny-tiny, some like medium, and some like large. However, I do agree that for the most part the preference is between medium and large. Why? Honestly, I don't know. Back during the renaissance, small breasted women were considered the hottest and most beautiful, while big breasted women were considered disgusting and sloppy. Maybe it's because today a lot of men like the doggy-style position, hence, a lot of men like big, rounds butts. So, big breasts are just big round butts on someone chest, and have nipples, AND are really squishy. That's all I can guess.

If you ask any guy, they'll say they like perky boobs. I know most guys don't like big boobs simply because they think it's too much to handle, they're most likely fake if they're on a skinny girl, and because they'll sag in the future.
Most guys like anything from A-C cups that have perky nipples.
Obviously sex symbols are going to have exaggerated features. You also have to consider that now-a-days, nothing is real, most things are airbrushed...
Be proud of your boobs whatever shape/size they are. There's always gonna be a guy that loves them (everyone has different tastes!)

Curious. Where do you get these sizes from? Ie have you looked at previous girlfriends' bras or are you just guessing?
I am comfortable talking to them about their bra size. I let them know that their figure is very attractive and there are plenty of guys out there like me who think the same thing. Since you are from the UK Tigerlily, I also know that US sizes and UK sizes are slightly different and I'd refer to a conversion chart. In the UK they don't have DD they just use E.
There's more to a "hot" girl than her boobs. If what you say is true, then wide hips are sexy too. As long as a guy gets to see your boobs at some point, then he's fine :)

I disagree. In terms of visual stimulation or sexual pleasure a large penis is very important while large breasts are of little importance if not irrelevant. Most men prefer C, twice as many prefer D than B and few want larger or smaller. Most women are C cup. Men on the other hand, if I'm not mistaken, are smaller than what would feel best.
Any size is fine although when there are back problems its time to look for a solution. Surgery for anything should only be done when necessary for health reasons and I would never have a any kind of operation for cosmetic reasons if they had any risks involved.

You know, a large penis isn't important, I think only ignorant women think so. I mean, only the first third or so of the vagina is sensitive, the rest is kind of numb (it's better that way, imagine how much it'd hurt to have kids if the whole thing was sensitive). That means that only about 3 inches of the vagina are sensitive, and nothing else. The first three inches. That's it. I think most guys are bigger than 3 in.
