let me rephrase. I haven't had sex in a year and I've been masturbating once every few days, is this normal. I've never went that long without sex since I started so I am worried that I might not be the young machine that I was.

It is not about how much as more so how well, and/or how long you last during one interlude.

Average is 5-10 mins. The impressive range is more 10-20 mins. Extreme is anything beyond 20 mins. And this is based upon average human stamina and a lot of different surveys on the subject. Nevertheless, If you wish to have zsex for a straight 20 min or more... May I suggest you practice tantra?
