How to tell my girlfriend her past sickens me without hurting her?

Whoa guys my girlfriend gave me her number yesterday and it was bad! she's 8 and I'm sadly only a one. We were in the car and honestly I was expecting a three or four but fukin 8!? She was easy before she met me. Anyhow, when she told me I was like "wtf!? Are you serious!?" (yeah not my best moment) And it got REALLY quiet in the car. Then she asked if I was mad and I sarcastically responded "no, every guy wants a slutty girlfriend." (again, not my best moment) I Haven't talked to her all day and I just don't know how to tell her how gross I find it. She keeps calling and texting me asking what's wrong. I want to tell her that the past is written in ink and the fact that she "loves" me doesn't really change the fact that she's yknow kind of a slut to me. Any advice on how to break it to her easily so she won't be hurt? And is it odd that I'm not really in the mood to have sex with her anymore?

Forgot to mention we're 20 years old. And I waited to have sex so it could be with someone special, but clearly it backfired on me.

Im not insecure its just that I thought she valued herself enough not to give it up so easily. I can't explain why but now I feel like she's not as special as I thought she was. I feel guilty about it but I don't think she's long term material anymore.

Men judge women and women judge men. A lot of what we judge the opposite gender on cannot be changed, yet we do it anyways. It's part of the natural process of finding someone you find desirable. Some things are under your control. Such as the amount of money you earn, the number of people you've had sex with. Sometimes, people aren't worried about the items that are under our control. You just have to put yourself out there and let other people make decisions if it's something they want.

That seems fair. Women judge men on the size of their penis MUCH more than they have in the past. Seems fair. G_GTom - I agree that women can be very picky, but so can men. Men have always judged on appearance, weight, breast size etc. The only difference I see there is judging men by income, which is mostly mens' fault for throwing money at women to get laid. Anyway none of that means that women shouldn't be able to sleep around just as many men do without being judged.

I get it completely. There's nothing odd about your reaction, you thought she was better than that. Something similar happened to me once and I just couldn't accept it, ever. I see you're a good guy and don't want to hurt anybody, so you're probably just gonna keep being with her but that thing will stay on your mind forever. I think you should worry about whether you should stay with her or not, instead of worrying about hurting her.
