I like being a "slut"! So why do people have a problem with this?

If you look at it this way. Everyone wins. I get sex, the guys get sex, and the future girlfriends get more experienced partners. So what's the big deal with people ridiculing and hating on sluts. We play our part in society. When you think about it we don't really hurt anyone. Most sluts know that guys don't want sluts as girlfriends and wives. We're not stupid, but we do know that men are men and they like sex. And guess what we like sex too. So it works out fine. And whenever the guy wants a relationship with a girl he likes I'll back off and sleep with other guys who aren't in relationships.

I really revolt against the word slut. It's like we live back in witch hunt days or something.
I understand this passion may be just about sex but sex is also social time, playtime and touching/hugging time that we all need, as do most primates.
I don't read you are breaking up relationships, you are not competing with them. You are not spreading STDs, you are not converting youngsters to the "dark side", you really aren't preaching.
I believe strongly in marriage but when single really believe in having fun like this where no one gets hurt. Always have, although my playtime was mostly the 60's. Those were really good times and very special memories to take into the real world of human-made rat races, stresses and work-time 24/7.
I also believe in Jesus who may judge me saying once "sin no more" to Mary M. but can I parse this to mean a prostitute, not just a "partygirl"? Well, you are free from this belief for now, so I cannot find fault with you.

i personally couldn't care less about how many people someone has slept with. I just don't like the after-effects of it. I think because so many women are "slutty" now, most guys assume that they can get sex whenever wherever, and treat women with disrespect. guys treat me like I am a slut, and they see me as disposable. I know I am not, so it can be frustrating for me. like if I mention I want to wait til I get to know them, they run off and act like I am not worth their time. it actually ends up damaging my self esteem because no one wants to get to know me. girls who are slutty make it harder for women who aren't. I have friends who sleep with TONS of guys, and I still love them to pieces. I just don't like the way men view women now.

I agree 100%. The whole 'slut' thing has become one of my pet peeves lately. I even wrote an article about it. It's a blatant double standard and insupportable by logic. I consider it remnant of the thinking of the dark ages. The existence of the concept is, in my opinion, perpetuated by close-mindedness rather than rational arguments.
Im glad you see this. it seems like a lot of men on here seem to lack that key ingredient - logic - when it comes to this issue. have you read the justifications for such double standards on this site? lol I'm beginning to wonder if half of these men went to college. then again that doesn't ensure anything either. oh well. lol

I guess whatever floats your boat...I don't know personally I like to have sex with someone I am dating...but it could be self esteem issues for all I know...I like to really know the person and have a connection with them...I mean holy sh*t...everytime I've ever get a boyfriend I make him wait a while before I get naked...like I said I am nervous to just get naked and do that right away...like I said self esteem...I don't know, I am not miss innocent though by any means...I have consumed large amounts of alcohol and drugs and had a couple awful experiences where I just put out...and I felt terrible about it...and those guys weren't as interested anymore...but like I said...self esteem issues...do whatever the f*** you want to do...free country, women have rights now and sh*t...just make sure you protect yourself from stds and unwanted pregnancies
Here what a guy thinks of a slut, he wants to f*** her but he will never date her. So if your cool with being a slut, nothing wrong with that, but if you ever want to find a guy that will actually date you, it would be in your best interest not to mention the fact that you were and are a slut.

I don't necessesarilly consider liking sex a lot being a slut. That's more a girl who looks, acts & dresses like ALL they want is sex & they don't care who they sleep with to get it. Anyway, I wouldn't hold it against anyone, & I wouldn't mind getting serious with a girl who liked sex that much, as long as we can be serious as well. As you say, it's win win...
my only concern is STD's but show me a clean bill of health and it ain't nothing but a thang ... in fact I love that and seek it out ... I have no idea why guys hate that!? its heros like you who do all the fun sexual stuff most guys dream about threesomes ect... I love and appreciate you all and am not the least bit intimidated ... but like I said just show me your clean :D

I have no problem with sluts I just think if you are sleeping with that many guys you should be careful there are some bad guys out there who could abuse you or get you pregnant and then just leave you. It happens all the time so you need to be careful. Sorry if I sound mean...
But long as you make sure the guys are good go ahead live your life! !

Whilst I'm all for sexual liberation for women, I think the message you're trying to convey is a little questionable. The term 'slut' is so widely misused that I don't even know what it means anymore. Do you just mean women who sleep around? In my opinion, a slut is someone who sleeps with guys without standards or with married/taken men, etc. I kinda put a degree of morality into the word.
If a girl likes casual sex I think she should be free to go out and do it. Yes, other guys and girls will likely chastise you for it. Who cares. If you are happy with yourself and still respect your body, I don't see what's wrong with it. I'm on the fence about the issue. I think people should be able to do what they want, provided they aren't hurting anyone. Please, get frequent health check ups, though.
If you don't have an issue with it, what's the problem and the need for a question? To use your word, I personally don't like "sluts". The question I'd ask is why every woman on here thinks ALL guys will have sex with anyone if given the chance. There may be times I think that that's what I want, but in the moment, I never act on it.
you know what? good for you!, you know who who are, you like who you are, you enjoy yourself and you don't take any crap from anyone about it. Not many people can say that and I take my hat off to you! :D
I would guess that your slut actions are threatening to those who use sex to get what they want. If sex IS what you want, then it is just a fair exchange of fun. Being honest with yourself is the important thing, and being open minded about what you enjoy is pretty cool. Just protect your self from STDs, and enjoy yourself while you are young.

This is the most brilliant, most profound thing I've heard in my whole life. It's so obvious, that it completely skips your mind as a man; unless you've clearly had many years of experience on being a man. Obviously, the only women who would feel angry (b/c they feel threatened) are women who "use sex" to get what they want. To these women, they see other girls enjoying sex as "giving out their valuable bargaining chip for free!" It destroys their bargaining power/negotiating leverage.

yeah, what this guy who's 50 said, my cousin was a slut, had a kid at 16 and got all sorts of (treatable, just minor) STDs...but hey SLUT ON!
lol, you go girl! it's like the double standard thing, it's OK for guys to sleep around but not girls. girls get really jealous and guys will just go along with what their girl says because they don't want to get dragged into drama...so maybe that's what's happening.
