Penis and circumcision survey!

I am interested to see how guys feel about these things and whether there is any correlation between penis size and feelings about circumcision. Please answer honestly! Remember that the poll is totally anonymous. Feel free to elaborate in an answer, but don't forget to vote! Average penis size is between 5.1 and 5.9 inches. For the purpose of this poll I will draw the line down the middle at 5.5 inches. Whether or not you are circumcised, you can vote for being for or against it. For example if you are circumcised and with you weren't, please vote that you are against circumcision. Thanks!

I meant to say if you are circumcised and WISH you weren't* and likewise, if you are not and wish you were, vote that you are not against it.

  • 6.5 inches long, and circumcised...and would not have it any other way...being uncircumcised is a GD nightmare ..with all that loose foreskin hanging over the glans...my Girlfriend dated an uncircumcised man for a few years and said she would NEVER go down on him without washing his penis under the foreskin I can't imagine being UNCIRCUMCISED...that would be my worst nightmare besides the sight of an ugly uncircumcised penis...

    I have a friend that is uncircumcised, and he would not shower after gym classes because of how his penis looked and he was laughed at by the guys.

  • Against. If you touch a boy personal hygiene it's an unnecessary procedure which is painful, and not just the snip. The tip of the penis is unprotected, causing a lot of painful friction.

    This in turn dulls down the sensitivity of the penis over time, causing the guy to be able to feel less pleasure from intercourse.

    If you're Jewish and want to continue your costume, fine. If you're not, leave the poor boys penis alone.

    • Besides, the most important reason circumcision became a common practice was because of the believe that it would make boys masturbate less. I can't condone a practice that has a terrible origin.

    • No one practices circumcision to discourage masturbation! That is nonsense. If you do not share the religious motivation, that it fine. But don’t repeat this sort of thing to try to discredit those who do desire to be set apart religiously.

  • Totally against the barbarity of circumcision!!!

    It is completely unnecessary and, in the US at least, merely a money-spinning exercise for greedy health insurance/medical providers who harvest the foreskins of baby boys and then sell them for profit to pharmaceutical/biomedical/cosmetics industries. Yes ladies, I DID say cosmetic industries - foreskins are often used to test new products in lieu of testing on animals - so think about that next time you buy a new lipstick!!

  • I'm cut. My male kids are cut. I'm fine with it. I can't give you a personal before/after, but a friend of mine was uncut most of his life. Once he got married, sex was painful for him, so he got cut as an adult, which eliminated the pain for him. I'm sure it varies from person to person.

    • Well, I'm sorry, but I can't see what's unclear about the poll. You are either over 5.5 inches or you aren't, and you are either against circumcision or you aren't. If you feel totally differently, there's an option for that too. The update was meant to explain that in terms of circumcision, you should vote based on your broader view or your desire, not on what you have. If it confuses things, just ignore it please.

    and because I'm brought up in the UK where it isn't very common

    it's a pointless procedure(apart from a few rare medical conditions)

  • I'm against forced circumcision. Not against it in general. If a guy of an adult age wants to do it to himself, fine. But the parents choosing for him as a baby? Based on ignorance? Stupid stupid people...

  • I'm circumcised. I have been since birth, so I wouldn't know the difference. I do sometimes wonder if I'm missing out? My penis is under 5.5 inches and I don't think my size has anything to do with being circumcised.

    • I was curious as to whether or not a guy's size might affect whether or not he is against circumcision. I guess because smaller guys tend to be insecure (not that I think they should be) and I was wondering it that could influence their feelings on circumcision in any way. The results are somewhat inconclusive, but hey, it was worth asking!

    • Smart man...don't let your own sons go through life if an inch of lose skin hanging off their penis...crazy not to have them circumcised ...The need to have it done asap after birth though...or it is a terrible surgery afterward.

  • I'm a grower, so my penis changes size. I'm currently uncircumcised (due to East European roots). However, the influence of American Pornography got me obsessed with wanting the operation for myself. I would do it for hygienic and aesthetic reasons.

    • There is no problem. I was not suggesting that circumcision affects size. I was merely curious as to whether there might be a correlation between penis size and the guy's feelings about being circumcised.
