Prickly after shaving?

I shave my pubes but it always ends up being prickly, is it super noticeable for the opposite sex? Or is it just me thinking about it too much

If you shave, make sure you go WITH the grain (the direction your hair grows). If you don't, you have ingrown hairs, redness, and that pricky feeling. So when you shave your pubes (hint: the less blades on the shaver the better) only move The balde in the direction of where your pubes grow (usually down). Same thing goes with legs.

Also, I would trim with an electric razor rather than shave the pubic region. Most guys only need the hair around the vagina/asshole to be shaved, not above it.

I am a virgin myself, but I have friends who shave and this prickliness can be a problem as it can rub up against the other person and it isn't very pleasant to say the least. It's best to shave on the day you are going to do it, or let it grow out a bit to the size where it stops being prickly in your case.

SUPER noticeable.. Not that they would really care too much while in the act but I always say WAX WAX WAX!!!

i'm so scared to wax! i always just hope for the best about it. but i have a long term boyfriend and doesn't seem to mind. although i wish i had the guts to wax to make it better for him and i'd feel more confident.

I was SOOO like you! Lol, if you can afford it, go get it done professionally. Its nerve wracking at first but its totally worth it and make it a point to go back to the same place every time. If not, me and my BF used to spend like an hour doing mine! haha I was too scared to go to a place and get it done so we had some fun and tried to do it ourselves. You do need the extra hand, but we laughed so much he was like, FUCK having to do this, just let it grow i feel bad.. ofcourse we dont do that but it also makes them understand just how intrusive it is! Imagine if all waxers were male.. majority of us girls would be walking around hairy as shiiit... lol. And if that doesn't work for YOU, then juz get an elec razor n buzz cut.. its totally smooth where it needs to be but it does leave you with hair like less than half a CM on top. But good thing is it doesn't prick anyone and its not ITCHY when it grows back!

Unless you wax, they'll notice. It's one of the downsides of shaving.
