Questions about incest?

So I was watching a Law & Order: SVU episode about (consensual) sibling incest and it made me think of some questions. First of all what do you think about incest? And this entire question is all about incest between consenting adults. I personally think its just weird and wrong. I don't have a good reason for thinking this way that's just what I think. For the people out there who say incest is wrong because it goes against God and the Bible says its wrong, what about Adam and Eve's children. I mean if Adam and Eve were the first two people on earth and they had children together who did their children reproduce with? And for the people who think incest is wrong because the children will have birth defects, it is possible for people to have sex and not have a baby. If the incestuous couple did have a baby there would be a higher chance that the child might be born with some type of birth defect, but there is also a chance the child will be born perfectly normal. If you are someone who thinks its alright if a brother and sister have a sexual relationship as long as they are both consenting adults, do you also think its alright for a father and daughter to have a sexual relationship as long as they are both consenting adults? Parent/child incest weirds me out so much more than sibling incest. Is sibling incest more common in certain parts of the world or in certain types of families, such as single-parent families, or families in certain social classes? These are the types of random questions that pop into my head when I watch Law & Order: SVU.

Could anyone come up with a percentage of how many people have participated in a consensual incestuous relationship in America? I know this would probably be difficult because this isn't the type of thing people talk openly about and admit to.

I remember reading an article about a father who was not apart of his daughter's life at all when she was growing up, but when the daughter was in her 20s or 30s she met her father again and they ended up getting together. To the people who are alright with incest do you think this is alright since the father was not the one who raised the daughter?

The simplest answer is if 2 people love each other it’s no one’s business. It’s very difficult to find unconditional love. None of us should have a say in other people’s business anyway. Our rights end where their rights begin.
Now as far as the history of when it became wrong. It can’t be that wrong if Royalty reserved the right to incest yet common people were forbidden.
FYI. All of our laws and rules are man made. They told us God wants these rules but who is to say they weren’t lying? Priests are supposed to be close to God and they were molesting children.
Last thing is only the countries that were ruled by England at one point have these laws.

the tricky part is that it needs to be truly consensual no pressure on either side which is easier with siblings than with parent/child.

I think that incest relationships occur more often than not in today's society given diseases and Covid-19 situation etc. I don't see a problem with it.
Between siblings that are consenting adults, I don't think there is anything wrong with it. My sister was 22 when she and I, 19 at the time, stayed together while our parents travelled for two weeks during summer. She was frustrated about job hunting, and I was frustrated at not being good in the party scene. She noticed and, since we both had nobody else near us in our age group to talk to, began telling me pointers for talking to girls and after a bit we got to the topic of casual sex. She said she was fine to let me practice with her. I was both nervous and shy but since she hot so i figured one and done, see how it goes.
That turned into a week and a half long, purely physical affair that ended when our parents got back. I got LOTS of practice in and that helped build confidence, and while we obviously don't talk much about it, we are still glad we did it.
I think it is ok between consenting adults. Some states, though it is illegal.
I think, hypothetically, it's ok for two consenting adults to do it as long as it's for pleasure/showing love as opposed to trying to conceive. The thing that could hurt two consenting adults though is if they have trouble socializing and are doing it to have an "easy" way of finding sex without socializing with other people outside of their family.

I've had experimental experiences with siblings and cousins when I was around 7-10 years old. We would play out things that we saw on tv, thinking that it was just like playing house.
