Virgin Hunters of G@G - Are you confused about what the hymen is and how it works?

Not to debate why it matters in the first place (I don't care why it's important to you) - but there is NO MEDICAL/PHYSICAL (EXAM) WAY TO DETERMINE "VIRGINITY".

However, I've seen an abundance of questions and comments about the infamous hymen, and many of them are just flat WRONG.

Let me be clear... NO REAL GYNOCOLOGIST would ever tell someone that they can do a pelvic exam and tell with certainty that she IS a "virgin" - hymen intact or not.

They can only tell if there has been "trauma" (damage inflicted) in there. That doesn't happen in normal sexual intercourse. And usually, for most girls, there is no bleeding involved with their first sexual experience.

Are you among the confused? Have you bought in to misinformation about the hymen?

This video is pretty simple to understand.
There are many, many more. Some are more scientific than others, and some are moderately entertaining. But they all say the same thing.

THE HYMEN DOESN'T WORK THAT WAY !_!_!_!

  • There's only little amount of tests that r 100% certain. Not saying this ain't true. Just to clear that out.

    • I have no idea what the relevance of that is supposed to be, but OK.

  • i don't think it can be said that most girls don't bleed their first time. i did. i don't think it's rare.

    • It's not rare but it's less than 50%. Hence the word "most" being less than half.

    • but how do we know that it's less than 50%?what if it's a bit over half like 51%! what if it's like 48% bleed vs. 62% don't bleed i would say it's hard to refer to it as most

    • Semantics. More than half don't. Use whatever word you choose. I just went off of several medical articles that I read as well as a few youtube videos posted by ob-gyn specialists. The point is... people should NOT expect that a girl is SUPPOSED to bleed the first time that she has sex. That's just wrong. ✌

  • Hymenoptera is the family that bees and wasps belong to duh

  • Virgin hunters aren't rational people, don't try to reason with them

    • Oh I know. But there are some users with pink profile that post ridiculous things about a doctor checking to see if they're a virgin and it makes my brain twitch

  • Virginity is a state of mind. When I knew my ex girlfriend I didn't care of her been virgin or not. She said she was virgin and I believed her then she made it more specific saying she never had a boyfriend and been intimate. I was Ok with that, until we breakup. It was a LDR, and she had her insecurities so my sexual life with her was nearly to none existent, then we breakup.

After little more than a year I was like "she will lose her virginity with a next guy!" (that's when things definitely ended, from what I understood between lines). Did it hurt me? Fuck, yes it did, because I failed my objective to see her in person and give her everything I couldn't gave her over the internet. The thought of another guy showing her things she never experienced with me made me bitter. Now I don't care, I return to my senses after realizing virginity is an overrated definition that is purely psychological. She can have the amount of sex she wants, is not of my concern. I am happy to know I gave it all, the last of me. My only fear is that she finds a jerk.

  • I knew it. But still chose the last option. Cause its cheeky and I like it 😂

    • That's why I worded it the way that I did. Some people need the ability to poll troll.

    • 😂😂

  • Where is the "zero fucks given" option?

  • I bled. I had a separate hymen.

  • These people live in a fantasy world.

    • Which people are those?

    • Those that think you can tell if a woman is a virgin or not or the breaking of the hymen. Those people just have no clue.

    • Yes, they don't have. Being virgin means no sex with other human done, shortly explained.

  • Well I took someone's virginity but she didn't bleed and she claimed her hymen broke years before riding her bike and it felt great and she really seemed to have been inexperienced but still I have no idea if she was lying or not.

  • It's fffffffake, it's a fake hymen

  • I love Adam Ruins everything!

  • . I knew you couldn't tell virginity by the lack or presence of a hymen but still learn more about why. Impressive

  • Very informative... a lot I already knew, but I didn't realize so many non-virgins could have an intact hymen. Great post!

  • Where's the poll option "wtf is happening"

    • You should make one of those.

    • & therr is a way to determine virginity for girls ese

    • What do you think Sherlock? Is there a way you can tell if a guy is a virgin?
