I don't get it being religious- like surely it goes against God, like you're tampering with his creation. If he meant for it to not have the skin thing on the end then wouldn't he have just made man without it?

LOL. Religious people can be hypocrites, but perhaps we should just be glad that they often reject parts of their religion that are barbaric. Paul made a concession on circ mostly just to get the gentiles to convert, and the mormons largely gave up polygamy due to public out cry. Nothing changes.
Hypocrisy is one thing, but many are just willfully ignorant of what their books say and and a sugar coated version of their religion in their mind.
It's to reduce sensation so guys feel less during sex. It's a completely pointless procedure that only harms the individual unless it's absolutely necessary for medical reasons which is rare

That's only true if the circumcision is a "tight circumcision", which is not all of them, thankfully. That's what can cause painful erections and all the nasty stuff.
Because otherwise, you STILL have to clean under the remainder of the foreskin. Not that that's really difficult, mind you. Takes like 10 seconds.
