Girls, When to ditch the condoms in the relationship?

How long were you in a relationship with someone before you said or agreed that a condom didn't need to be worn. (Assuming you're on some form of birth control)

  • We're still using condoms because I haven't found birth control that works for me (not that it doesn't "work" but I tend to be sensitive to meds) and we've been together for a year so we use condoms as our primary contraceptive still.

    • I forget to take the pill on occasion so that's why I haven't considered until now to not use one. Having been using them for a year the cost on those things add up lol

    • Maybe you could try the injections or some other method?

    • Maybe. We probably spend $40-60 a month in condoms depending on the type we use.

  • When we both take std tests and we are both clean. We would have to be together for awhile for that to even happen.

  • After testing.

  • When you want to get pregnant.

  • When you are married and are discussing children.

  • As soon as we started having sex

  • If I'm on birth control and I know that both my partner and I were clean, I don't see why we'd need condoms anyway.

  • I don't think you should do that because that's unsafe and can cause pregnancy or std's. by std's it can be that he cheated on with another person unprotected and caught something. You should never have sex unprotected. DON'T PUT YOURSELF IM DANGER

    • Also birth control doesn't always work

  • Only if/when you're able to support a baby.

  • When you want a baby
