Yeah, I can't speak for every woman, but I've certainly noticed this in myself. I have terrible measurement perception in general, and I often don't know the size of something given its measurements until I find a ruler or have something to compare it to or something. Not sure why that is.
I think that many women are pretty bad at estimating/measuring anything tbh. We don’t seem to have the spatial awareness that men do, driving, parking, guessing a piece of furniture will fit in a space.
That and we don’t have dicks to give an educated guess on a size just by looking

It's really hard, because it's dark, guys lie to you, we don't generally take rulers to bed and for an Australian like myself, we use the metric system. The thing I go off for reference now are sex toys.
You can reference against the toys, but also against your hand. When you grip it you can see how much longer it is than the width of your hand. really not hard to estimate fairly closely.

Because women have been lied to do much over the years in regards to how big an inch is.
