  @Blake0048 That study? The map is comprised of data from many different studies. Some self-reported, some conducted with clinical measurements. If possible, many different studies were taken account for the average of a given country. It's the best you can get for now. Better than no evidence at all, which the claims of "they aren't bigger at all" are based on. But funny that you claimed to now which study that was and that it was self-reported.

  @MarcoIsAFailure ok so out of all the data only part of it (measured by a physician) is accurate. The averages are skewed by inaccurate self reports therefor not statistically relevant. And if course some countries have a higher average than other ones. If you compare two numbers one will be bigger than the other. But if differences are marginal than it doesn't actually mean anything. Especially when the map is created with unreliable data.

  @Blake0048 Actually, the impact of self-reported measurements is not as big as you think. Usually the average tends to be a bit higher in those studies, but not by much. Not so much to bridge the gap. Between German studies, self-reported vs clinical measurements, the difference is usually 0.5cm. Also, if you only look at clinical studies, the result is the same. The highest national average (forgot which country it was, but a sub-saharan African one...) I ever saw was 17cm, and that was a clinical study. The thing is just, that if you'd done that, the map would be even more empty. Also, when there was done a europa-wide study a few years back (clinical measurements) the results of french having on average 0.5cm than germans was explained by the big percentage of blacks in france. So obviously, it's regarded as scientific fact.

  Okay. Were talking about self-reported data right? That is one of the most unreliable ways to collect data. The only way to collect a penis measurement and ensure validity and reliability is to have a doctor, friend, or researcher do it. Otherwise the margin of error would be too great. Most self reported data is considered null anyways in the scientific community.

  We don't. The data on the map is both and even if you exclude self-measured data, the picture is the same. As already stated in my last reply. Also, it's not self-REPORTED. Only self-measured. They are actual scientific studies, not some random online polls or something like that. They are usually acquired in some context. Some are conducted by condom manufacturers for example who sell different sizes. MySize etc. Where you got both, a bunch of self-measured studies and clinical measurement, you can see that they are actually quite close. In many cases, the trend even goes back to more self-measurements again, as the general consensus among researchers tend to be, that men are actually very honest if data is collected anonymously. The biggest source of error are measurement methods (bone-pressed versus visible length or even measuring the underside instead of the top) which are prevented by telling the men how to measure first.

While being a grower does not mean the erect penis is necessarily smaller, flaccid and erect size are still linked to an extent and thus, in a colder climate, a even smaller "grower"-penis, which is so small that is does not reach average "shower"-size anymore, is even better adapted.

  Quarter of a cm? It's more. I actually once did the number crunch and took those averages, put them in relation to the population size and took the average from that. Was somewhat along the lines of 15.5cm. Both the global average and the average among white countries as well as the average in Germany, is about 13.5cm. Which is quite logical, as whites are "in the middle" among racial differences and Germany is in the middle among european countries. So the difference would be about 2cm. You can argue, that the African average I calculated is a bit too high, because while most recent studies in Europe are done with clincial measurements, many of those African studies are self-reported. Not all, but a good chunk of it. But if you compare it to an older german study (which is actually still the most quoted) which was based on self-reported values too, that would be 14.5cm (kinda representative of whites in general as mentioned above). That makes it a 1cm difference.
