Why do humans want sex so much?

Other species in this world only have sex to reproduce, during mating season. But humans want sex ALL THE TIME, especially males. why are humans so different?

It's that they're the only animals smart enough to realize what sex is and urges normally end up requiring sex.
Basically, females want it just as much but society (religion and male jealousy) has literally brainwashed them into hiding it, even for themselves.
Firstly women are just as "frisky" and even more than men when they reach their mid thirties. Women in the early 40's are constantly wet and are always having great thoughts. Human beings do not lol have a mating or dating season, men are always horny and women are right up there behind them. Humans still have that instinct to procriate and it is being misread as sex. We are just now a very complicated society and women's lib has changed the roles a bit(some good in my opinion and some bad). Maybe in 50 generations the need to have so much sex will go down? 25 generations? Will humans ever have a universal decline in their sex drive because of the earth's population? I doubt it but who knows what evolution or time will bring. Oh and many species like monkeys and dolphins are orgy mind sexed crazed addicts. Ever see dogs? Rabbitts? There are many other examples but nature is nature.
Because its promoted and advertised constantly day in day out, everywhere you look. Outfits, dress fragrances are made, to entice the other sex, or the same sex as in some cases. Animals lower down than humans don't have this, (they don't have their own billboards and hd tv's with say foxes or giraffes wearing mini skirts or speado's) and have other things on their mind such as tryna get that next meal and not being killed lol. Its all very simple. :)

Wrong! Women crave good sex as much as men. Guys will take mediocre sex or even bad sex where as women will usually not.

Most women don't want sex as much as men do. We don't have as much testosterone in our bodies, which drives men to want sex.
There is estrogen in the female body, apparently you didn't do very well in Biology.
Yeah but testosterone gives you a much higher sex drive. There was a study where women with low libidos were given testosterone and it incresed their sex drive by a lot, but it also gave them facial hair lol.
IMHO the facial hair was bad, but the boob hair was worse.
To breed. I hear that older women, who are nearing menopause have a stronger desire to have sex, so to breed and perpetuate their genes. It's part of our animal instincts.

Because we are mammals. The whole reason for our existence is to reproduce; therefore, it's natural for our bodies to constantly crave sex.
Maybe we've already taken care of our other needs -- food, clothing and shelter -- which have ceased to be as major challenges. Incidentally, not all humans want sex so much. It's mostly the affluent ones. I've known poorer societies, where sex is just a functional, occasional distraction! Nothing like the huge amount of energy that Western societies and urban areas worldwide spend on it!

It's caused by a special chemical released in the brain when a human has sex that makes you feel amazing (A kind of endorphin). The only way to release this chemical is to have sex- The result: Just like any other strong drug, you get addicted to it.
There are theories that more of this chemical is present in the male brain than the female, thus making males more horny.
Because we can give birth at any time in the season and we live much longer.
I do it to feel connected to my husband. That's about it,and also some times it feels good :) and I"m bored and there's nothing better to do, and we are always lying on the bed when we are together... so why not
