Why do so many people act like periods aren't gross just because they're "natural"?

Mainly women who do this. Act like periods aren't gross at all and say "it's natural" and call men immature if they think it's nasty. Some of them even say periods are "beautiful" or "empowering". And it's not "just blood" . It's blood that smells and has uterus lining and blood clots in it and sometimes comes out in clumps.

I know periods are natural and women can't control them but that doesn't mean they're not gross. Vomit, poop, snot and all that are natural too but still gross. It's like some women get mad or offended when a guy says he thinks periods are gross.

Why do so many people act like periods aren't gross just because they're "natural"?

I can imagine because it only happens to women it may seem like you're making them feel bad for something they can't help. You can hold in a fart in public, use the bathroom, to poop or vomit, but periods come out of nowhere.

If you are immature , as a male, you will make a bigger deal out of a girls period that you should.. It just part of nature. But I understand the aversion, it's how you handle yourself.. Vomit is natural as well. I certainly dont like it , i dont freak about it.. and when my kids where small, I had to deal with it.. I grew up and cared for me kids, no matter how gross it was.. As for a period, it never stopped me from having sex unless it was the woman I was with that didn't want to have sex.
