Why do women act like men wouldn't be able to handle the pain of childbirth?

And they say they have a higher pain tolerance than men just because they can give birth?

  • It all comes down to ego. You don’t know if you can handle childbirth until you actually give birth to a child. There are women out there that will never have children because they hate the thought of how much pain it’d be.

  • Who cares? Men and women are biologically different. Pain tolerance doesn't make you a superior being either.

  • It feels good to be a guy, phew!

  • It's not really a choice. If you're giving birth, you can't not handle it. You're already in the middle of it with no escape route. The only escape would be death or anesthesia

  • I'm asexual

  • Men would handle it like women do.

  • men would handle childbirth even better than women <3

  • Because it's the only thing they can do men cannot

  • women are wired for it not men

  • Childbirth closely resembles the extreme pain felt by men when their testicles are attacked. Add the fact that the process of childbirth is excruciatingly long, lasting an average of 8 hours and is often accompanied by nausea, fatigue and tension, builds a really solid case for the ladies.

  • Women just say that to excuse abortion. Women that have abortions are cowards and can't face the consequences they caused. Men usually do face their consequences well, so yes men would be able to handle it just as good.

  • Some studies have been done that show that women have a higher pain tolerance. But there are also studies that show the opposite. I really don't think it matters, and that it differs on a more individual basis. Besides, pain tolerance doesn't make you tougher than anyone else. It's a biological thing, which falls out of your control. The only times I have ever seen someone use this argument is in response to someone calling women weak. In that case, the child birth argument makes sense, because whatever way you spin it, child birth is painful. The logical fallacy comes in when they try to use it to compare genders. Fighting fallacies with more fallacies gets you nowhere.

  • Cuz when they have a cold they whine as if their leg is being cut off lol.. And cold is not even close to giving birth

  • cuz you dont understand it. it's like periods, you all think us women are being pansies about it when in reality, they hurt like a bitch and are a bitch to deal with cuz they make us one for some time.
