There's a difference between glancing when it catches your attention versus straight-up staring. There's really no need to make someone uncomfortable or vulnerable just because there's some skin showing. I feel like guys need to learn how to function in a world where women wear revealing clothing and not get all riled up about it.
I don't know about other girls but my girlfriend has mentioned that she likes staring at her own boobs when she wears low-cut shirts :P I don't think it's about attention from others.
Girls can't show they like it, but they do. Think of it this way, ever have that homely/fat/ugly girl follow you around the bar? The one you made it pretty clear you are not into and just wierds you out? That's how they feel when the wrong guy gives them too much of that attention...
Shrug I'm kinda the opposite, it is rare that a guys would be staring at my chest so I just feel flattered when they do... except it's creepy if they are over the age of 35... Although I can see some women would get annoyed if men are always looking down their tops and ignoring what they are saying.

I don't get the big deal of a guy looking at my cleavage. I sometimes wear tight or low cut shirts. And the guys I work with look...a lot. I really doesn't bother me. If it did...I wouldn't wear those kinds of clothes. The same way I check out a guy's butt.

It is just weird when people leer. I get it all the time from girls leering at my arms, chest or crotch. It goes both ways with each gender, but most guys are usually clueless.
It's not just cleavage, it's revealing clothing, in general. I've heard women say, they are doing it for themselves. Yeah, right. I've never seen a woman get dressed up like that and then stay home.
in reality women dress for other women meaning look better than the next girl. We don't dress really for men to be honest. If we did that's either 2nd or 3rd in line

Sometimes we like how something fits on us, and not precisely because we want MEN to look. That's pathetic if you think that way...
And even if we did do it for the sole purpose of attracting men, we tend to be picky of what kind of men are the one's looking. Old men with wives should not have wandering eyes, that's just ewk! and if we are bothered when YOU look, it's because we don't want YOU to look, but perhaps we want the next HOT guy to look.
That is completely unreasonable. If you display something attractive, it will draw attention. You don't get to display something in public and then decide who has a right to look. When a person leaves the house, their appearance is public domain. If you wear something to attract cute guys, the other guys are going to look to. If you don't like it, change.

it depends...i have big boobs so it usually shows a little bit even in a casual v neck. but I wouldn't intentionally flaunt it and get mad if someone looked.
