Why does my boyfriend look at other girls butts?

Question

Last night, I was at my boyfriends house and we were talking about in school and how we girls dress in gym and I asked him if he checks out other girls butts. Yeah, it sounds kind of weird I but he told me that he does and that it's not like he wants them but its human nature for a guy to take a gleams and that he's been trying to stop doing it. But it bothers me really bad and I don't wanna go on and on about it with him because I don't wanna fight but in my head I'm thinking "wow, he goes and looks at my butt then goes and looks at other girls's? I'm not special at all if he does that?" or "what if he's like dang, that girl has a nice butt!" I don't want to think like this anymore and I don't know what I should do about it? We've been dating for almost 10 months and I know he loves me but him checking out other girls really upsets me. Please please pleaseeee help me on what to do and give me your opinion. thanks! :)

Because they're there :P Most guys don't think, "I need to find an ass to look at right now because my girlfriend's isn't good enough." But if there's a butt right there in front of them and it's pretty fantastic, their gaze is going to linger a bit. Butts and boobs are just nice.

I know it's difficult to just get over it, but try to remember that it truly doesn't mean he's not a faithful guy. He's right when he says it's just human nature.

I have a thing for guys' arms, so I check them out sometimes, but my boyfriend's arms are still my favorite because they're his :) I don't know if that makes sense, but I think that's how a lot of people feel when they check out people who aren't their partner. Admiring a nice thing doesn't mean you want to actually hook up with the person and cheat on your partner.

dont let it bother you...guys do it...girls do it...we are animals...an if you bug him bout it then he will feel like he has to hide it an you don't want him to start hiding things from you cause thts when the cheating starts...you need to let him be a man...

You need to get over it (: Sound easier than it is but for him to be looking at other girls is no big deal (; There's a reason he's with you and if he didn't give you a reason not to trust him you shouldn't be worried.

Yeah, he's right, it is human nature to do that. We may not care about them at all, but we'll still look at their butt. "eye candy" so to speak, like a really expensive sports car might catch your eye. Do you look at things like that, for instance you are walking down the street next to a jewelry store and see a really nice ring or something like that.. it's just eye-catching and fun to look at.

Butts are just beautiful things. I don't know why, they are just awesome. Most guys just like looking at butts. At least he's not acting on it.

He looks at other girls because he is a health adult male. There is nothing wrong with just looking. Yes he does need to work on not looking while you are around, because it hurts your feelings. You also need to work on your jealousy.
