O...I forgot to include this (but I guess you rpolly assumed)i DIDN'T end up loosing my penis...the anti-biotics eventually were able to clear the infection up. It was for a brief period it might be a possiblity...my mom never told me about the possibility of amputation...she told me later...she didn't want to scare me so she was only going to tell me if it had to done. So, just want to let you kno I'm okay in that department.

Because deep down, women are really jealous of men. Men are so big, strong, & beautiful & we feel so weak compared to them. We only bring them down, so we can feel like we are on their level. Because a lot of men feel there is nothing wrong with cheating on a woman. And by laughing about Loren Bobbit, I guess we women feel like we are taking control of the situation. Yeah, I really think the reason women support this kind of stuff because they are trying to scare the male into being faithful & staying with them. The thing is, I don't think women do this purposely, I didn't realize any of this until yesterday. All women really want is to love & be loved. That is so hard to find & when we do find it, we are scared someone will take our guy away from us. We need to learn that if we really love a man, we must trust him & let him go if he finds someone else.

People care far more about female genital mutilation in far away countries than they do about the exact same mutilation (and in some cases worse) done to boys in the "developed" world. Clitoridectomies are not used as punishments in most places practising FGM, they're cultural. They're usually done by older women who had the same done to them - it's an initiation, exactly the same as male genital mutilation.
