I've been looking into it for a few years, but it's a complex community. I feel like people really don't want to take the time to accept new people into the lifestyle.

Light bondage is good if you really trust your partner. I don't want the rest of it. The reason you should try bondage with your girl, is very simple. This site is the best example in the world. If a woman on this site says she doesn't button the top button on her blouse, a few guys will call her a whore. So these things sink in. Everyone wants experienced, but if they’re so bored to even enter that community, I’m sure plenty will enjoy showing it to newbies and getting their reactions.

The first few times are probably really heightened reactions and unnaturally arousing, as time progresses, it becomes naturally arousing and only rarely thrilling when new levels are attempted.

I’m sure they would all agree it’s intoxicating.

It's fine, there are people who have their own desires and wants and to explore them in a safe environment with everything from safewords to equipment. It's a very expensive kink though, and extremely broad. Everything from restraints to whips to apparently straight up being a punching bag are all apart of the same larger community.

Maybe the reason for the hostility is that a well established community has difficulties with new people and are more wary and such. If you want to explore things like sub-dom relationships and whatnot it's important to be aware of what's expected though, so hope you find people apart of the community willing to help you. Personally know people who are apart of it, so I don't have many issues with it as long as everyone has fun and are safe about it.

Reading through these comments, people are too stupid to see past the sexual aspects of it. People are also too proud to see the value of being a slave. Pride and stupidity are what keep you from engaging in the "lifestyle." To me, it's not so much a lifestyle than an identity, or a loss of identity. If you are a slave, your ego may fight it with every fiber of your being, but if you have a good Master, you will experience a love greater than any you have ever known.
