There’s an incredibly simple answer here. If a man is attracted to traditionally “male” characteristics, then he is gay or bisexual. If he is attracted to traditionally “female” characteristics, he is straight or bisexual. If a man is with a trans woman who still has, say, a penis, and he is attracted to that, then he would most likely be bisexual. If he is with a trans woman who has a penis, but is not attracted to it, then he is straight. If he’s with a post-op trans woman then this question is pointless.

Well I would say that a pre-op trans woman is an example of a woman with a penis, but clearly you disagree. I find it interesting that you’ve excluded intersex people, though. Why am I not allowed to use an intersex person - one who has XX chromosomes but also has a penis - as an example of a woman with a penis? Also, you seem to have redefined the definition of “heterosexual” and “homosexual”. By the logic you’ve presented, sexuality is based on the chromosomes of the person you are attracted to, not on what they physically look like. If that person had XY chromosomes, I would be gay because I would be attracted to someone I believed to be male.
