They are fairly effective only had one fail where it slipped off during a very wet session.
Never had one break on me.

As to how to use them well you just leave that to the guy for the most part he rolls it on then when he cum's he is better to hold it as he pulls out as if he has gone limp at all it might ship off as he pulls out. You don't want to be fishing it out and you won't know if it's spilled any while inside!

I know it sounds obvious, but they have to be worn the whole time during intercourse. In other words, the guy can't have his penis in a woman's vagina, and then put on the condom right before he ejaculates. This is because there is sperm in a man's pre-cum. Also, he should withdraw after ejaculating before his erection subsides too much. Because as the erection subsides, sperm can leak from the bottom.

They are very effective and like the only way to also protect yourself from stds.
I always think the duty to get condoms is a guys duty as he needs to make sure they fit well and aren't to big or small for him, but you have to store them right else they break easier.
