Thanks everyone for answering honestly... And for everyone who disliked or insulted another person's opinion, I first of all apologize on their behalf to the owners of those opinions, and I just want to say that I didn't ask this question so that people would harass one another... Everyone is allowed to have their own opinions and I honestly respect each one... Thank you everyone who shared their opinions without slandering others... Saying no one should be submissive is as bad as saying all women should be submissive. Let people choose for themselves and don’t condemn them for their choices. Some people like to be submissive or dominant. It makes them feel good.

See, that’s where you show your ignorance. If a woman chooses to be submissive, it is usually to one man and not all men who think they can walk all over her. A strong independent woman chooses to whom she will be submit, not the man. I would never be submissive to an arrogant, ignorant, uncouth guy.

You should always ask why. Why do religions ask people to submit? Why do men perpetuate the submissive woman trope?
@OddBeMe. Yes!! Once I met a very nice man who was a lifelong member of the Guardian Angels and had 2 full sleeves of ink. I thought surely I would get male dominant sex with him, but when we got cozy, he surprised me at the last minute saying he wanted to be submissive and serve me as his mistress. I didn’t have the heart to ruin it for him and say we both wanted the same role, so I did it for him.

Nope, women are submissive because they like it (in bed for example) or because of environmental conditioning (in my opinion). If you were raised in a house hold where you're repeatedly told to be a good submissive woman, there is a high chance you will be one.
But no one is SUPPOSED to be anything, you literally be anything you want so get in touch with your inner self and find out what you want, what you like and dislike : you got time to figure that out so take the time you need

@suncookie I wouldn’t say I admire women who are dominant because that would be saying submissive women are not admired.. or valuable.. that they’re less admirable than dominant women. Everyone can’t be dominant. Everyone can’t be leaders. It’s usually very strong independent women who like to be submissive to a man in the bedroom and I’m not talking BDSM. To lay aside one’s will and submit can be a big turn on for both men and women. I have a preference but I have been a switch on one occasion to please a partner. I didn’t have the heart to tell him we both wanted the same role.
Usually yes, but I was with one woman that was more dominant in regular life decisions but submissive in the bedroom which worked out fine because I like it that way
