Nature provides that you can pass urine or you can pass semen. But there is a changeover area. So most of the time you can pee, but have difficulty with aim. There is a point that is reached where urine is cut off. Right around there some can be forced through, but it is painful.

It can be hard... pun intended, generally I have to push it down as far possible without discomfort then lean forward the rest of the way.
Usually unless I desperately have to go for some reason I'll wait for the erection to ease off or I'll have a wank and pee after.

It depends upon the strength of the erection. It it's VERY hard, then urination is basically impossible, until it relaxes a big. Once it is not rock hard & throbbing, you can force urine through it, but aiming will still be a problem (so it helps to go at a urinal).

Unfortunately we generally cannot. Once it starts to go down a bit it becomes possible, but if it isn’t properly soft yet it takes a ton of effort.
