Sexual Health Contrary to popular belief, circumcision did not become popular in the west because of religion (the New Testament strongly condemns circumcision) or hygiene, but to curb masturbation. Circumcision was also originally practiced on females, for the same reason.

And circumcision that is talking about in the new testement is because people were doing it as a means to trying to keep the law which doesn't mean anything before God anymore in terms of trying to be justified, but rather justification comes by grace and having faith in Christ and not keeping the law.
Nothing wrong with a person wants to be circumcised or not.
My point was simply that the trend of circumcision isn't from Christianity.
