Yes. Proudly so.
I'll admit I never had any girls really interested me in my life. And my self-esteem is below negative. I'm told I'm hot now but it's hard to believe that when you were the kid who girls agreed to go to the dance to so their boyfriend could throw glue in your hair or because you were part of a pig dare. It's even harder to accept the idea that it was your personality because I was nice, kind, smarter than most kids and just shy. But I also told myself when I was 9 that I wanted to wait for the right girl and hopefully have it be something special and have her be my only.
I only want one woman in my life. I don't really care how many she's had, but only she gets me.
Hopefully that makes her feel special as it would for me to know I got chosen over all the other guys of the past.
I'm at the point where I'm getting happier and happier alone despite never letting go of that part of me as a boy who just wanted someone to cuddle and lie awake with at night talking about our lives and telling stories to and I could wake up and make her breakfast in bed in the morning. And also speak French or German to her and whisper it into her ear while licking and biting it and pounding her. Getting her name tattooed over my heart to join the rest of my ink.
I'd hope to have someone around 27 or 28 so I could still kind of pretend I'm still sort of a boy and a young man on the cusp of my youth with her. But, I'm okay just being alone for now.
I do have a crush on a woman who has caught my eye though, fate conspires against it.

Yes I am.
I am quite the late bloomer and when I was in high school I didn’t feel ready. I do feel ready now and I have just started dating someone so who know 🤷‍♀️.

Besides I am demisexual so I would never be able to enjoy or engage in casual sex the way my peers do.

I do feel ashamed (scared of people’s reactions) and pressured sometimes but I realize that I would rather lose my virginity “late” than lose it at 16 knowing I was not ready.
