As a black man I been constantly wondering when did this black men fetish had ever been started?

I happened to not be a person who kink shame because I also have my own types of kinks but I honestly doesn't know exactly why non black men cared so much for black men dicks? Usually most of us black men don't even pay attention to our penises as much, so I practically wonder why is this 'BBC fetish" so popular among women and non black men? 🤔

  • "So it basically just a racism and stereotypical creation to dehumanize most black men? Or am I only over analyzing it? 🤔"

I read something recently that said way back in American history when racism against blacks was at pretty much the absolute worst (during slavery etc), there was propaganda put out by white men stupidly claiming that black men were going to steal their white women, and this was such a potential threat, it was incorporated into the whole smear campaign as a way to trump up fear and anger. They were drawn (literally, on posters) as hulking beasts and described as having abnormally large penises which would harm their women.

However, I think you should look at the current state (what you've noticed as attraction) as something much more positive.

Kinks are a preference that enhances an individual's personal pleasure. Fetishes are taking it up a notch, and are required for the person to get off.

I'd call any racial preference simply exoticism. Exotic to one, is not exotic to another. It's geography-based, in large part. Exotic is different, atypical, something not commonly experienced. And genuine interest in that is nothing but positive. Especially when you look at it as an openness to other cultures.

I personally believe interracial mixing (of all sorts, not just sexually) is the superior way to be, the superior way forward for the human race. But many disagree with me. They want to hold tight and not "dilute" their genes, their culture. This is a massive ideological difference, obviously.

If people wanted to have sex with a black guy, but never have anything else to do with him - no further relationship, no conversations about meaningful things, not asking their opinion on anything... then yeah, I'd call that a kink, and I can understand why you wouldn't be too happy about it. But there are lots of people who just 'fuck and forget about it.' They might move from one person, and kink, to another, to another. I doubt being with a black guy is the only one, or thing they have interest in. I think it says something about the person. They use others for their own gratification (sexual or otherwise.) It doesn't demean you or black guys, if you don't let it. Because you recognize their character is not one to value at all. They might exhibit their self-centredness in other ways, like just taking off whenever something no longer interests them.

But most people, when they like something, do want more of it.
I'm also not a big believer in 'cultural appropriation.' I believe it's more cultural appreciation, and support the sharing and blending of culture. I'm against staunch ownership and lines in the sand.

There's a great old movie, 'Corrina, Corrina' that I really like. With Whoopi Goldberg and Ray Liotta set in 1959 when a widower hires a kindly housekeeper/nanny to care for his seven-year-old daughter. It's about race, but I find it not quite as heavy-handed as movies of today on this topic. Anyway, there's a sweet scene where two little kids become friends, and one asks the other, "Do you taste like chocolate?" She answers, "I don't know. Do you taste like vanilla?" And then they lick each other's cheeks and crack up laughing. They probably didn't expect to taste anything but even they knew that something deeper lay under this light moment.
My advice is to look at the whole thing as rooted in this sweet idea. It's not as simple as ice cream, but ice cream is pretty damn good, and who doesn't want to try lots of flavours?

I asked a q about exoticism, and though it's not specific to blacks, you might find it interesting to read:
How do you feel about being considered exotic to some, as a part of their attraction to or interest in you?

    • Wow I definitely agree with everything you have stated about preferences and fetishes. And yes I also believe that everyone regardless of background should be able to love and feel attraction to whoever they see fit. But unfortunately there are a couple of assholes who do dehumanize others but usually others I guess just feel attracted to a specific group of people who isn't part of their own.

    • @amandayvr This was really well said. I grew up in the northern US and I wasn't attracted to blonde blue eyed girls, I was attracted to dark features. I just have been (I'm blonde green eyes myself). My first two wives were black and now (bestestest) wife is Latina. For me it was just being attracted to "different".

  • I think it comes from what women preferred in porn. Cause i know too many small sized black dudes to ever have believed in the myth. At the end of the day, i dont care the color of the dude long as i love the dick that comes with him

    • you always have a way of putting things lmfao

  • I don't know myself, but it seems to strictly only exist on the internet. I'm a black dude, grew up in Philly I've literally NEVER had a white chick go after me based on race. I think it only applies to black dudes who fit the stereotype like these images above, and not to short guys (181 cm) who are overweight and look like Ice Cube and other ugly MOFO's.

I also don't fit the BBC stereotype either, and I'm not talking about British television. I'm less than 7" downstairs, which might as well literally be a baby-sized dick at that point. If anything, non-black women have been FAR LESS attracted to me, due to my race. I got sh*t on a lot for being dark-skinned and not a 10/10 like the stereotype. And while I don't care about race, black women usually tell me I "talk too white," and because I'm not 6'4" with a ten inch cock and 8-pack abs without ever working out, I'm "not cool enough to be black." Of course, that's if I cared what a bunch of nappy-haired, barely-literate hood rats with four kids by the time they're 20 thought of me. But it's worth pointing out.

  • Keep in mind that when I was a young man any sort of inter racial relationships were illegal in many states. That ended in the late 60's , and along came the Blaxploitation films. Most of the black dudes in those films had a white chick as their main squeeze, and for a lot of Americans in the south (where this had long been illegal) and in northern rural areas (where there were no blacks), this was the first time they'd ever seen anything like it.

This was new and potentially frightening (to white guys) and potentially exciting (for white women). It seem odd now, when two of my black neighbors are married to white women, and one white man has a black wife, but things were different back then.

    • So it basically just a racism and sterotypical creation to dehumanize most black men? Or am I only over analyzing it? 🤔

    • That's as fairly accurate summation. Of course if you look at the bigger picture, it is also implied that white women are not only powerless to make their own decisions, they are so easily over whelmed as to surrender their "virtue" to a black man at the drop of a hat.

    • So it is mostly a good thing and a bad thing, but yes I wonder why are white women so obsessed with us. I personally don't have any preference when it comes to a race but I always found it strange whenever white women try to chase black men do hard. But I really don't care, I love all girls as long they are hot and I can see their pussy I definitely take it.

  • It's been with us for many years and I can tell you for sure it is full of false claims as well as some verified examples causing the fetish

    • Which example were verified, I ain't judging I am just really wondering.

  • It probably started back when segregation was abolished, and women saw the opportunity to mingle freely with what was previously seen as forbidden fruit. Then further pushed with the stereotypes that the porn industry made of black guys purporting to all have massive dicks. I guess the news that this was a myth never reached some girls.

  • I'm going to say that has always been a campaign by porn producers to get the "other" races buying in to their products. Their products being the joy of seeing white women being done by guys like them.

If I would disagree with my first statement, in comparison I wouldn't be able to find a lot of porn that has black women doing white men. Yeah, there is some, but not even close to the amount of black men/white women. It's all about attracting men to their porn products, not the reverse.

  • I don't know but even the guys with the big D's getting the girls... I don't know if they are looking at the bigger picture. they're actually just degrading themselves that way tbh.

    • It personally just find it a complete racism, which is unfortunate because us actual black men are considered as one of the least desirable men in terms of actual relationship status so I personally find this kink adding insult to injury. 🤦🏾‍♂️

    • Understandable. You're just being portrayed as a sec object no different from a dildo. You just happen to breath and feel back. But I feel your humanity is ignored and they those types of women view you as just a stepping stone or experiment. It's really sad

    • But I can at least try to change the image of black men because I have big dreams to make my own shows and movies with mostly black men as the leading characters so hopefully I can make actual good black male characters who doesn't fall into a specific stereotype.

  • It’s not really that popular it’s more a media hype thing but even back in middle school white kids of both sexes were talking about black guys having big dicks. The girls giggled and the guys were envious.

    • Truthfully not all of us black men has huge dicks, mine not even close to what most porn get shown.

    • I’ve seen two black guys up close irl. One (my boyfriend) was kinda big. The other (a guy I messed around with in college) was about average.

    • How did they thought about this fetish or they didn't really cared about this kink?

  • Bruh, the crazy ass thing racist whitebois started the BBC stories in hopes of make black men seem like more of a threat help give another reason to lynch black men they claimed that "black men would use their giant animal dicks to destroy white women's vaginas to prevent whites from reproducing." I know really dumb🥴
That shit many generations later really bit them in the ass, cuhh.
Now we got a bunch of insecure whitebois wishing they had this myth😂

    • Oh man I can imagine how stupid most actually black men must they are.

  • Probably a response to the black guy-white girl stigma of the Jim Crow era.

  • I don’t know

    • Do you watch porn? Because BBC is short for Big Black Cock!

    • At first I thought that meant Barbecue.

    • No, barbecue is BBQ
