At what age did you get your own room?
I had my own room at age 3 but always slept in my moms room. Around age 6, she met my sisters dad and we stayed over there for like a year. Pure torture. I had to share a room with his son. Then when she gave birth to my sis, i was back in my moms room since they broke up. I stayed in there til she started dating this other guy around age 8. Then i had to share a room with my sis for like 2 years. Then my mom turned the living room into her bedroom for a year so that we could have her own rooms. Her boyfriend was mad af because we kept cockblocking their sex sessions 🤣 Then we moved to a 3 bedroom house in 2007 but my sis and i went back to sharing a room until age 15 because she was afraid to sleep alone. #FeelFreeToList #MyOwnRoom

What Girls & Guys Said
40 74Since I was born.
Lucky
Around 8 i think. Long time ago.
Today's Wednesday so let's see... Never
Dang
I was 4 then I had to share a room at 12. Then I got my room back at 13.
Dang why they move out so quick haha
My older sister moved out to live on her own. 🤣🤣
7. Before that I shared with my little brother, who’s 2 1/2 years younger.
Aww :)
2 or 3 yeah, but I don't have siblings so ya, easy ;)
Oh well dang haha. Yea i didn't have sibligs at 3 either when i had my own room
13 i think
Nice
13 or so. When I moved in with my grandparents after my mom's second divorce. Until then I'm pretty sure I had shared with my brother.
Ohh i see
I was I'm my own room since I was brought back from the hospital
Thats good
Not really, as a toddler I was left in the dark and my parents got pissed if I bothered them. My sisters taught me how to climb out so I'd go to one of their room's and sleep with them if I got scared
My mum would have been fine if I wanted to sleep with them, mainly my dad had issues
Thats actually sad. I would let the kid sleep with me until 2 or 3
I agree, both my sisters do that with their kids. It is important to have that security I think
Pretty young I think when I was around hmm 8-10.
I was 3 lol
Well the first house we lived in was pretty small we didn't move into a house with more then 2 bedrooms till that age.
Yea all of ours was 2 bedrooms until age 12. But my sis wasn't born for the first 5 years and then my mom moved into the living room and made it her bedroom lol
Fair enough.
I had 3 brothers in a 3 bedroomed house... I shared a room up until 16... hence I moved out as soon as I turned 18.. I had a lot of catching up to do! lol
I still ain't moved lol
I come from a broken family so with mum I had my own room from the beginning but my room at my fathers I was sharing with my step brother til the age of 11
Not bad
14, I think.
Nice
From day one being brought home...
Before I lived in my ancestral home where I had a huge joint family, with my grandparents and uncles and aunts, so I used to share a room with my parents. Then when I was 12 or so, my parents and I moved for my dad's job and I've had my own room since.
Oh dang
It was fun back in my old home cause I had cousins too. Though I feel I've grown more as an individual when we began living separately as we used to be in a small town and now in a bit city I got better exposure and experiences.
Quite a long time ago but if you miss it I'd be happy to share it with you
At age 5. I was an only child at the time.
Same
I never didn't have my own room. I was an only child until I moved to foster care.
Sorry about that :(
Thanks.. Foster care is not something I would wish on anyone.
I has a shared room with my sister until I was 3 years old, then had my own room but I didn't like to sleep alone and also sometimes my mom used to put the laundry on my bed, so I slept with my older sister very frequently... I started sleeping in my own bed on a regular basis when I was 9-10.
Yea a lot of us who got our own rooms early still preferred to share haha
When I was 1 month old I moved out of parents room. Been alone since :)
Nice
