Breast Reduction Surgery, How Safe is It?

Apart from it's quite expensive, How much safe is breast reduction Surgery, Does it has Any serious side effects? My Mom is thinking and She might needs to go through a Surgery because of Some issues which she has been facing

Is there Any way to hide big boobs?

Mom don't have a Insurance So she will have to Afford all the Expenses of the Surgery, Do you think those Guys Will Stop teasing and Molesting her after the Surgery done?

  • That's a very safe surgery. It will help a lot psychologically and also for health.

  • I don't think getting a reduction surgery will change a lot of things there's unfortunately no easy way to stop molesting scumbags but there are other ways to keep that all from happening as often

  • I'm sorry for this case... I don't know in which country you live. For example If you are in the United States, it is best for your mother to wear white clothes with a vertical stripe. If you're in an European country or Asian country, loose clothing helps. But in my opinion, this is not the basic solution. It's best to file a formal complaint with women's rights. I can't comment on breast surgery because I don't have a specialist

    • Thanks for your opinion, I am from Philippines and Unlike other Philipino Women Mom has got big boobs, She has started wearing tight Sports bra, black and baggy clothes to avoid getting further Attentions but it's not helping her because those Guys have already seen her and they know about it.

  • In everything there's a risk, but if she can work out and build the muscles in her chest to reduce the fat in that area will help reduce her breast size but make them firmer, but if you feel it's needed find the best person to do the reduction.

  • I would always recommend against surgery if it isn't absolutely necessary. Surgery is risky all the time. But I'm not a surgeon. I'm not a medical professional at all. I have some knowledge in psychology, but my field of study is economics. I can't answer this for you. Where are you from, if you don't mind me asking? I've been to some countries with problems like you're describing, but nothing as serious as you're describing.

    • Thanks for your opinion, Yeah Surgery Can be risky and it's Also Expensive, I am from Philippines and Mom thinking about this Surgery because Some Guys of a Criminal Gang are teasing and Molesting her because of her big boobs Size, Mom tried Many things but it didn't help her much, You can read My first Post/ Question about it, I have given the link on the top in this question.

  • It is usually safe and some possible complications will be discussed before surgery with the patient. I told before. These guys will not leave her after reduction.

    • Thanks for your opinion, Surgery is a expensive option and it's not her first Choice but Mom tried other options like doing Work out, Diet Control but it takes Some Months to get results, Mom has also started wearing tight Sports bra but it's not helping her much because every kind of bra has a limit it Can't hide very big boobs, So only other option left is Surgery.

  • I dont think they will stop their molesting even after she does a surgery until you dont change your location because they now know that you can't prevent them from molesting her. So even if she changes they will continue to do it. So do change your store location as soon as possible. You should do that without their knowledge. Another way is to file a complain, but you already said you have done it and it has no changes. So, this is the only way.

    • Thanks for your opinion, Yeah, Mom is trying to relocate her shop to a better and safe location but it will take Couple of Months because She needs to arrange Money, Mom has started wearing tight Sports bra, loose clothes but it's not helping her because those Guys already know that she has big boobs, So it's making difficult for Mom to hide them to avoid getting further Attentions, Surgery Could be a Permanent Solution, it's expensive and Risky but even after her Surgery if they didn't stop Molesting her then it would waste all the Money.

  • I don't really support anything surgey except its a do or die situation.. Hate having people mess with my inside or my body been ripped apart and then operating i sure as hell won't feel whole so i guess my take on this would be NO... i do not really support it since its not a death sentense situation... She could get a licence to a gun learn some self defence and when every she closes she make sure there is someone walking home with her so she isn't alone... when my mom closes from shop usally around 10-11pm she always calls me from home to come and pick her up.. Am A Military man lol so sometime i go with arms so in your mothers case if you have a brother that's intimidating or friends that she trusts/ neigbours that are trust worthy that could walk her hom they could go together... Mom does this when am not around some of her friend stay with her in the shop they chat to kill boredem when there are no customers and they end up going home together... Just a thought she could try this

    • I also don't support for Surgery it's Risky and quite expensive but Mom has been trying Many things like She is trying to do Work out and diet Control to get slim but it takes Months to get results, She has started wearing tight Sports bra, baggy clothes to hide her boobs but she finds it difficult Also Some Guys of that Gang have already seen her So they know about her big Size So hiding from them is not very effective ! I go to college in early Morning on weekdays So I can't go with Mom and Those Guys Come in group of 3-4 People, When they See Mom Coming or Going they Swiftly go and from her behind one Guy grab her both boobs it makes Mom helpless and that Guy keep on grabbing her boobs from her behind till the last and they Molest her badly, She is bit chubby So she Can't run away swiftly So in this Situation Surgery Could be a Permanent Solution for her issues with those Guys.

    • Thanks for your opinion, Yeah Mom trying to get help from higher Authorities but Chances are bleak, Mom also started doing exercises and diet Control but it's a long term plan, She has also started wearing tight Sports bra and loose clothes but it's not helping her with those Guys who have already seen her and they know about her big Size, So Situation is difficult for Mom and also Surgery is Expensive too !

  • I went out with a lady who had had breast reduction surgery. It was probably not the best of jobs. The major problems were:
    1. very visible scarring.
    2. she reported significant loss of sensitivity, to the point where nothing I was comfortable doing got felt.

  • People will bark no matter what, their job is to judge and bitch later.
    My suggestion is to do workout or Yoga, instead of painful surgery. If you spend those expenses on such activities it will be helpful effective and more convenient.
    Nobody really know what will be the side effects, can be major or mild or nothing at all, but why take risks.

    Nobody is perfect, just love your body and let the dogs bark. :)

    • @shiney19 People won't stop trust me. When she loses the size of her boobs what if those people start teasing again? There is no stopping them from teasing. A pitbull and a shotgun.

    • Guns are not allowed here but getting a pitsbul dog could help her, So far what I know those Guys target on her big boobs So I think after the Surgery she might not be a attractive target for those Guys with small boobs.
