Sexual Health Apparently this is called trans regret. A video about it showed up in my YouTube feed like a week ago and I watched it. There are trans folks who years later regret getting a sex change, and this one 'lady' in the video was saying that trying to turn back into a man would just not be the same and that the new penis wouldn't even feel as good as the real thing.
There were other videos on this subject, I had no idea it was that real.

20 70The ones that are detransitioning at the highest rate are the late teens who were never counselled properly and or were not taken through The Harry Benjamin Protocols (now known as THE STANDARDS OF CARE FOR GENDER IDENTITY DISORDERS) which details the course of counselling and treatment of someone wishing to transition and to determine if it is what they really want/need.
There are too many psychiatrists and surgeons jumping onto the transition band wagon without considering the Prime Tenet of medicine 'First Do No Harm', and also failing to consider if a parent even one with medical qualifications arrives in their offices saying that their child is 'transgender', that it may be the parent who needs medical treatment as they may have Munchausen's by proxy (MSBP), and as Blair White has said in the past;
“A transgender 4 year old is like a vegan cat, we all know who’s making the lifestyle decisions.”
But do we want them back...

You are mixing up sexual identity and sexual preference. You can be Trans and straight.

Actually it's 100% your right to judge or not to judge... 100% your right. So don't make it about false arguments or equivalents.. and 100% not about privacy to talk about a public health issues that effects all our society especially when there out waving thier flags in our our faces. Is kept that shit to themselves then I'd keep my opinions to myself... but I would still silently judge them and I havevtge right to do it. It happens, it's a small percentage of a small percentage of people. The sad thing is the biggest cause of people detransitioning is social pressure/abuse

Having surgical procedures to attempt to change your gender is like using a bandaid to fix a deep gash in your arm that clearly needs stitches. It only gives appearance of change.
