So it made me wonder: do girls who are still virgins lie to other girls about having already had sex so they won't get scrutinized for being virgins or so they can seem like they have experience? We know that there are guys who also do this with both guys and girls, because male virginity is frowned on by both genders much more often, but does anyone know of it being the same way with any girls?

29 19I lied to my friends but it was the opposite reason. I started having sex when I was 16 with an older guy. I lied and told my friends I was still a virgin because I didn't want them to think I was a slut.
Kinda like that for me too. My friends were less mature and advanced than me, so I couldn’t tell them because they wouldn’t and couldn’t understand then at the time.
Now it’s a different story. Everyone has grown up.
I have never felt the need to do that.

@Alex_988_2 I don't know, it's that I don't seem to be one I guess. Most people assume I have a boyfriend when they see me, some even think I am a cheater with plenty of boyfriends lol.
